UPDATE, UPDATE A Member on TalkBass has got a hold of me and said they saw my bass It was being sold on guitarcenter.com's website, In fact he got an email of the Bass, and described it to me as my exact Bass, He unfortunately deleted the Email after he bought a Status ( Hey Status S2 Classic - What a Fantastic Bass ) Anyway in Colorado the downfall to this is this was 10 Months ago, well Im very passionate about finding it, so I called the guitar center actually all 5 of them, and Finally got a hold of a Manager and he did a search for the Serial number and the Model number, but nothing came up, He told me that depending on how the Bass was entered into the computer, is how he can find it, Meaning if the Associate whom entered it into the system, Spelled Modulus wrong, or used a different heading such as Modulas, or QW5 or Wide 5, He would actually have to search for each and every variable, they cannot do a accurate search and be able to find it ...unless it is exactly what was entered into the Computer. So that being said, it was sold from Guitar Center in Colorado somewhere, so as far as I can tell it is still in the USA.....So Please Please keep your eyes out, again any and all help is appreciated...Just for everyones peace of mind, I would just like to know where the Bass is, and in case that time comes the owner would like to sell it, I would like to be first in line to purchase it....Terry

You know Guys, Im still on the lookout for this Bass? Sometimes these things take some time, and persistance is the key mach that with drive and passion and we just may bring her home...I know its been a while since my last post? You know you may be right, about it not being so Magical, however you may be wrong as well, I feel that if, and that is a big if??? its in the same condition as when it left me, then the Magic would be Tremendous...,,,as her and I would get to know each other all over again, and we would have that inner communication, that inner peace, that brought us together for the first time...Yes it is that sentimental, yes it is!! As far a new Modulus, no I havnt considered a new one, getting ready to go into the studio to record a new CD, so after that it may be time to get a new one, depending on affordability. Gust0o Yes I also have a post up at Talk Bass, I literally search everyday on every known search engine for any leads to this Bass, I am almost becomming Obsessed with being able to find the bass, Everyday Im off work, I search the webb for any and all strings having to do with Modulus, or QW5 or Q5W or Extra Wide or 6 String forums, the list goes on and on, I just wish I knew where she was? so that if and when that day comes the owner will be willing to allow me to buy it back...Im so sincere about this, I think about it everyday,, hopefully someone will come to the surface and at least give me another clue to follow? I did find out again that the Pawn shop actually sold it 2 days before I was supposed to come down and make a payment, What to do, Sue, its pointless....... Update, SPI-5 Modulus or called a QW5.... We have contacted the Person that used to sell everything for the pawn shp, But they cannot remember thier Ebay Id...Appearantly this was back in 10-28-2004 is when it was sold, I know I know my dates were all mixed up so I apolige for that....I pawned it on 4-30-2004 and they sold it on 10-28-2004...which honestly according to my records, they sold it 2 days before I was to come in and make a payment on the Bass, as you have to make a payment every 30 days before the date in which it was pawned, in my case it would have been 10-30-2004 but they sold it on 10-28-2004 2 days early ???? Well Im still looking for it...If anyone has any information on this Bass, please do contact me [email="[email protected]"][email protected][/email] I work from home and will get the email immediately the Serial number to Modulus Graphite SPI-5 Bass is 951774....It may also be referenced to a QW5 because of the wide string spacing. I sincerely appreciate anyones assistance in helping me find this Bass.....If the owner reads this, and your not ready to sell it, I completely respect and understand that..All I ask is that you please contact me, Id love to hear about where she has been what she has went through ECT..I miss this Bass Dearly, yes I think about Playing her Everyday....Sincerely Terry

Just a heads up, I got a hold of the Pawnshop owner, and he has agreed to let me speak to the person in charge of all of his Internet transactions, on Wed, Feb 29th so hopefully I can get the EBAY sellers ID and the Item number, then I can call Ebay and they will tell me where it went, and be able to track down this Bass....Ebay told me when I called them, If I have the Item number, then it can be tracked in thier system, no matter when it was sold...So keep your fingers crossed for me ok? Ill keep you updated? Terry

Ok I will try as you suggested, When you Pawn something over here in the USA, they dont have to tell you anything Period...Just an Example, we came back from our Gig late on Friday night, Put everything in the Jam Room and left ( Someone forgot to lock the door ? ) we closed the door but forgot to lock it, Needless to say My Modulus was Stolen as were a few Drum Mikes and some Cables, I desperatly called every Pawn shop within a 5 Mile Radius and they all told me to go [email="F#%$@#%"]F#%$@#%[/email] Myself I explained very nicely on the phone what the Modulus Bass looked like to every detail, and the serial Number, no one would give me any information....I kept calling back hoping to speak to a different person, and I got a hold of a Lady, and after I gave her the description of the Bass, she told me it was in my best interest to come and look at this Bass, but would tell me nothing else...Morality you say, there is no more of that, as human beings we are not, We are all Slaves whom are driven by slaves, who inturn are slaves themselves and dont know it..in a Slave Driven society..I just had to say that, as its Sad but True. Thankyou, for your thoughts, If you or anyone else sees this Bass, I would appreciate it letting me know, I just want to know where she is, this, True Story I just told you, is one of Many other Amazing True Stories behind this Bass, and that is why it holds so much sentimental value to me.....This Bass was also in a Fire, and the Headstock Logo shows signs of yellowing from the fire..This is another identification for this Bass.......Sincerely This Bass has went through so much....I would just like the opportunity to buy it back...Plaine and Simple...Again thankyou so much for your thoughts and input, I really appreciate it....If you know of any sites to recomment me to...please do so, Ive regestered to just about all USA Sites....Terry
