His voice puts the water works on go for me. ever since i saw him sing solo on the beebs glasto coverage this year (in the tv tent acoustic thing). that blew me away. Elton, love his early stuff. but that concert was the most souless and cold musical event i've seen broadcast in a long time. ITV through and through.

I~ thought hold steady did what i wanted them to do, fat old drunks that sang sing along husker du meets the boss. They are awsome. I thought Martha reeve sounded very ropey and looked like ET and Louis XIV love child, a let down. as for the T**G T**GS i think they are musical abortion and sum up everything thats wrong with pop music today. Adele - wake me up when she's done Duffy - i would Svank (?) - cracking hair can't remember the rest.

i'm still amazed i got £850 for my 2 EQ this time last year! absolute steel at £650 for this beautifull machine. Why have they gone out of fashion? (only sold mine coz it was active and not being giged) good luck with the sale.

Last night my new guitarist informed me he loved the bass lines on the demo i gave him. That grew my head a little, it was nice to hear. But I bet a seasoned pro and a large chunk of BC wouls think the where awful lines. A few weeks back our first drummer was watching me play and said "You really enjoy playing, don't you?" - that was the best compliment i've had in my 14 years of playing. Shame he was a tool.
