1. Hi all, **** SOLD *** I'm considering parting with my Orange Terror Bass 500. Not 100% sure about it, but I thought I'd see if there's any interest. I bought it brand new in early 2011. Since then it's been gigged a handful of times, always transported in it's gig bag and never really been used in vein. A few months back I swapped the stock valves out for Phillip's AT7's which made the gain far more usable and opened up the amp a bit tonally for me personally. I do however have the original valves somewhere. Having done some digging, I'm asking SOLD firm for the amp as a cash sale. Trade wise, I'll consider a Genz-Benz amp, or a 1x12 or 2x12 cab...but feel free to send offers my way. I'm in Grantham, Lincs. I'd prefer collection. Pic... Any questions/interest, post below or send me a message. Thanks for looking. Jamie
2. Thanks for that.
3. Hi all, I appreciate this is a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string question', but I'm looking for a rough idea as to how much the following bass would cost please. An all original 1979 Fender Jazz in good condition but with all the usual signs of wear. Off white, turning yellow, bound and dotted neck. Original paint and frets. Thoughts? Thanks Jamie
4. Pm on it's way to you pal...
5.
Bit like the 'eye' in the Marleaux
It didn't take it's eye off me... ........I'll get my coat
6. Hi all, I'm looking at selling my Line 6 M13 along with a Gator gig case and Line 6 EX-1 Expression pedal. All as a package. I'm not an effects whizz or anything, but I totally got this and love it...the looping capabilities are awesome and open up a ton of great possibilities. Here's the gumph from Line 6 http://line6.com/m13/ The expression pedal is a little sticky, perfectly usable, just not in brand new condition. The M13 itself is in great condition and has only ever been used for messing around at how. Pics (taken with my phone camera which isn't all that...makes it look really hazey)... Price...I'm asking £320 for the lot. I'll also consider a trade on a compact cab of some sort, or an Orange OBC115. The cheapest I've seen all the items come to is £450. I live in Grantham, Lincs. and would prefer a collection but I can sort out a courier if needs be. Any questions etc, just ask or pm me. Thanks Jamie
7. How did I forget that in the description never noticed it
8. Hi Paul, Sorry, I've been away for the weekend, I'll call you now. Jamie
9. Long story guys... All is good thanks Mark, hope all is cool with you
10. Thanks for that pal... Forgot to mention, it's currently strung E-C but I've not adjusted the setup as it was strung B-G earlier this year which it had been setup for.
11. *** SOLD *** Hi all, I'm looking to sell my Wood & Tronics Zoid 5 String bass. Spec as follows:

Alder body with hollow chambers
Horse-Chestnut heel block (rare and special for tone) + Padouk veneer
Tanzanian Blackwood solid-across top with special arrangement*. one-off Zebrawood/Maple/Purpleheart interruption layers
Satinwood fingerboard
Three-piece Maple/Ash/Maple neck
Nordstrand Dual Coils
East/W&T custom circuit (includes Passive Tone Control)
More information and some points on the tonal characteristics of the woods used to make this bass can be found here. Things to mention are...

[s]The strap button on the top horn is a little loose, I've tightened it a few times but it's loosened off. It's never bothered me personally but I wanted to mention it.[/s] EDIT 21/11/2012: I had Jon Shuker fix this today, he also looked at the action and re-seated a few frets that were causing fret buzz when the action went super low...no longer has buzz
There is a minor blemish on the top single cut, about 1mm in length and hardly noticeable to me personally, it's not dinged, just a slight mark.
I'm asking SOLD for the bass which includes a pretty well used Sadowsky case. I'm predominantly after cash on this one but I'm willing to consider trades/part-ex's. Thanks for looking...any questions please get in touch. Pics below... Jamie
12. Programmed this in last night. Very funky! Found it to be quite harsh though as mentioned. Any ideas for how to temper it a bit? Maybe add in a filer post trem or something? Or some reverb? I'm just throwing ideas out there. In any case, thanks for taking the time to share this with us. Jam
13. Oooph...this is a beauty. I've got a HW1 Precision in a Honey Blonde...it's a beauty. Don't really need another one...but this would look lovely beside it!!! Hmm...I hope this sells soon!
14. Quick update... Really getting to grips with this bass now. Finding it so effortless to play. It's tone is incredible. It's getting it's first outing on Wednesday. Meeting up for a jam with a new project, kind of a funk/jazz/groove based thing with a really sick drummer and a nifty sax player. We've got a pretty decent upright player who we're thinking is up for it too which would be pretty cool. I'd be well into the realms or chordal and effects madness if that were to happen which I'm excited about
15.
You may find this helpful: http://basschat.co.u...beat-divisions/
Thanks feller, totally forgot about that.
16. Lovely tone...oooph...I do like his tone!
17.
You could ask Mr Hargreaves. You might find this useful (if you've not already been there). Organic Bass Wobble
Thank you sir
18. Am I right in thinking that you can use this to mix 2 loops of effects and then blend them to create a signal out to your amp?
19. Just replied to your pm pal... Yeah, I know I've got the right gear...and there's a few more bits on the way, hehe...naughty!!! I just read/heard Chris Hargreaves mention the use of the panner is all. And in theory it makes perfect sense as I'm running in mono, the panner won't pan from left to right as such, it'll create the wobble effect. But getting it to sound right with all the tweaking still hasn't yielded the kind of results I'd hoped for... I am a dunce with all this though!!!
20. Hi all, Been reading and watching some of Chris Hargreaves thoughts on using the panner function on the Line 6 M series pedals for that DubStep wobble. I've got an M13 and I've got a really nice DubStep sought of sound coming out using my OC-2 into the M13, then with a Tron Up filter, then the Panner. But the panner doesn't seem to want to create the desired wobble. Any ideas on how best to program the wobble in? Thanks in advance. Jam
21.
Issue 80 july 2012, page 56
Ah that'll be that then, issue 80 hasn't been uploaded yet to the online subscription bit...argh! Thanks for solving that one for me then!
22. I seem to be missing something here...what edition and page number of BGM is this bad boy in please? I subscribe online to the mag but can't see anything about this little number...and I'm intrigued by it. Hmm what what!
23. Thanks for all of that folks. Most helpful!
24.
From what I've seen they're rated at max 100mAh but tend to run on 40-50 in reality so unlikely to be an issue. They definitely need to be isolated from other pedals and you'll a reverse polarity lead.
Thank you kind sir
25. Hi all, Just getting my head around all this power nonsense when it comes to pedals, so forgive me if this is a bit of a dumb question. But what are the power requirements of a Moog MF-101? I know it needs 9v, and the Moog site says the following...105-125 volt, 5W. 220 volt power adaptor available on special order. However, what ampage does it draw? I think I'm thinking along the right lines here. Basically, just wondering if it'll work on the pedal board I've got on the way (SKB PS-25) which has 6 9v outs, with a 500mA capacity. My other pedals will draw hardly anything, so plenty of juice will be there for the Moog if it were to find it's way on to the board. I'm guessing I've missed something fairly obvious here, so please be patient with me. That having been said, thank you very much for any help you may be able to offer. Jam
