I was very impressed with the fast response from Reinhard , on a Saturday morning as well ! - and as regard the sound ..well..just perfect for what I want . I do like the mid freq selection 300Hz , 500Hz or 800Hz in the pre amp . I have it set at 500Hz , as when the middle pot is increased it boosts the D and G strings to balance out with the E and A which sees a little quiet ( but they are an old set of strings )

If you are thinking of buying this pedal , try it out first if your Bass is active . I bought one and found ( like quite a few others – search Talk bass forum for eg ) that some Active Basses overdrive the input . My 1999 Warwick Corvette FNA – MEC pup and Seymour Duncan 3 band EQ – did . Using the –15 db pad in the box , did not ( IMHO ) make it sound like an Ampeg anymore, and rolling the volume back on the Bass just made it “mushy”. I even bought a EHX Signal Pad to put in front , to tame the Warwick output signal , but “mushy“ again . My Bitsa Jazz – Nordstrand pups , with passive EQ , works Beautifully – true Ampeg tone . Pete

I have put it into a 1999 Warwick corvette FNA . Cant believe the difference from stock MEC pup with Seymour Duncan 3 band pre amp , to the Delano system . And now I have a pull / push Active to Passive switch as well ! ( so if the battery fails mid song ) I can switch to Passive . Thanks for your help

Thanks BassBunny, Have wired them as above, to the Sonar 3 pre amp ...........worked first time ! Delano have replied ( on a Saturday ! ) and they state the same as you . Thanks again Pete

Hi, Just purchased a Delano MC 4AL pickup , and the wiring diagram is not clear as to how to wire it without series / single coil / parallel wiring . Have emailed Delano , no reply . All i want is a "hot" and "ground " from the four conductor wires ( green , yellow , white , brown , screen ) Anyone sorted it ? Pete

Pick up around Coventry , or Courier will be about £25 on top for UK Mainland . Thanks for looking . Hi dyerseve , Yep your right , they have replied with a lot more info than I asked for . The pup is a MEC passive humbucker ( as per musicman ) the preamp board is Seymore Duncan STC-3M4 , and the two` trim ` pots are for setting the bass and cut off freq when in slap mode ( vol pot pulled out ) NICE.............. Pete

Just purchased one these Warwicks , the single humbucker version , and when looked inside the back , found that the MEC circuit board has two ` trim ` pots on the corner . Does anyone know what they are for ? No reply from MEC or Warwick . ( did not really expect any reply ! ) Pete
