For ports, 1 flared round one in such a position they you can't see the back of the cones through it is best. However it is not practical. Need to figure where you can put ports first. Download Win ISD to figure the right length once you have figured where you can fit them. I think the rough rule was a port aread of about 1/9th of the cone area.
Hi, Thanks for reply, have already looked on Win ISD - does not have celestion speakers in, thats where my problem started. The only reason I am selling , is cos I have just bought a HIWATT 200 all valve head, and some cabs. Pete -
120quid posted let me know if you need pictures or more info cheers! Matt info: Always thinking of the fat-stringed brethren, they had to make a 3-channel, programmable, rig-in-a-box for bassists who can’t get enough of a great thing. Like the TRI-A.C. for guitar, you get three hot tones right at your toetips. The all-analog circuitry features the same controls as its single channel predecessor: Drive, Bass, Treble, Presence, Blend and Level. Digital only in its programmability, you just tweak the knobs until you find a tone, double-tap on a footswitch, and it’s saved in that channel. It’s that simple. Three of your faves -- to go! ADDITIONAL FEATURES * Build your Bass Driver DI into a live rig with a Bass Power Engine 60, and run through the PA for extra power. * Boldly go live with just your Bass Driver DI straight into the PA. Bounce into any studio with a Programmable Bass Driver DI and plug directly into the board. * While larger than our other SansAmp pedals, the Programmable Bass Driver DI still fits into a gig bag. Actual size is 7.25”L x 5”W x 2”H. * Even with its roadworthy all-metal construction, each unit weighs in at a mere 25oz. * Operable with a 9V alkaline battery or optional Tech 21 DC2 power supply, and it is also phantom powerable.
Is this still for sale ?

The latter, of course, might not be applicable to you! Maine.
Thank you kind Sir........

What a great guy Bernie is, Met me halfway between Coventry and Birmingham with SWR 1x15 cab, used it last night with my 2x12 bigfoot, and Hartke 7000, fantastic !!!!!!! Bi-amp had to be set off center ( 1x15 8ohm, 2x12 4 ohm) but what a sound............................... Thanks again Bernie... Pete
Hi guys, since I now run a line 6 Bass Pod pro thingymajig in my set up I have no further use for the V-amp pro, someone please take it off my hands because it ain't getting used, it's not in the original box but I'm sure I can find a suitable container for it, pretty sure I have the manual to. If not I think it's on 'el tinterneto' It was formerly owned by Dan "Dood" Veall and will actually make you play like him* It still bears some of his musk and mystique, which must add considerably to the value. Yours for £40 (£100 new) I'll drop it round the M62 for petrol money and I'm sure postage won't be too expensive anyway. *Disclaimer: this is a lie, playing ability will not improve, may cause temprary blindness, if ingested seek medical advice. [/quote Hi, If its still for sale , I`ll have it. Could you find out postage to Coventry........ Pete

Peavey 1x15 and 2x10 SOLD SOLD SOLD
petetexas replied to petetexas's topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
Hi, Have you got any pics? Are they carpet or vinyl covered? I'm in Northants so could collect quite easily. Edit. If they're vinyl or tolex (not carpet), I'll have 'em. Cheers, Maine
Hi, They are yours ! They are vinyl, and I work in Daventry, during the day, so maybe pickup from there would be better. Pete -
For sale are my old faithfull Peavey 1x15 and 2x10 bass cabs. The 1x15 has had an Emenence 15 inch driver fitted ( 350W 4 Ohm ) The 2x10 has had two Eminence 10 inch drivers fitted in parallel ( 250W 8 Ohm - making the cab 500W at 4 Ohm ) Both with Roqsolid covers. Both cabs are in a reasonable gigged state - some scuffs, dents, but not too bad ( the 1x15 has a large scuff on the back ) Both for £90 the pair ! Pickup around Coventry Pete
I've got the vinyl 2x10 and the carpet 1x15. They sound lovely together but the 15 is a heavy bastard and I live in a third floor flat at the moment. Can handle the 2x10 but have hardly gigged with the 15 cos of this. It does sit nicely on top of the 15 but is a couple of inches shallower.
Hi, The strange thing about this 1x15 ( and I know its an old cab ) is that the weight is about the same as one of the vinyl covered TVX2x10 Im selling! Thats another reason I bought it ! Mind you, it has got a Eminence 15 inch 350W driver, so I dont know what it would have weighed with the Black Widow, and also it is NOT made of ply.
hmmmm if i can get a matching 4ohm 1x15 and 2x10 out of this i might well be interested (matching as in look good together)
Hi, Thats exactly what I`m doing..............................I have a third ( older version of the Peavey 2x10, no recess to the front grill ), and it matches up ( as in looks ) with the old battered 1x15 that I am repairing ( rips, scratches etc ) The only reason I`m selling the 2 TVX 2x10, is cos I want more bottom end !
Are these the deeper vinyl finish ones or the carpet? Would you split? Or swap/part ex for a 4 ohm Peavey BX15BW? Cheers, Tom
Hi Tom, What a shame.....I have just bought a BX15BW ( battered and dammaged ....so I am doing it up ) Yes they are the deep vinyl, and I dont really want to split. Sorry .......
