1. I would love to buy the NY121 cab. If you are willing to ship to Greece, I can definitely cover the cost.
2. Any chance you can ship one to Greece. Willing to cover the extra cost.
3. Two questions: - Is it still available? - Do you ship international? (Greece)
4. Any chance of shipping internationally? (Greece)
5. Hey there, can you fix the link for the photos? It stopped working after the site upgrade.
6. Can someone explain to me why this bass is still for sale?
7. Hey Tom, that's a beautiful bass you are selling, but before you sell it, why don't you take it to a good luthier and make it hollow? If you remove a couple of pounds it should be easier to play. I have back problems too and now all my basses must be under 9 lbs.
8. I play in a classic/hard rock band and one might think that they didn't like it. Wrong! My bandmates fell in love with my paisley bass. You should start lecturing your bandmates.
9. Good for you.
10. Hi and thanks. I have the same, with an SCPB-3 (for a more modern sound) and was thinking of changing the bridge too. Great instrument, vintage aggressive precision sound, excellent Japanese craftsmanship and, most of all, b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!
11. Is that the bridge from the American Deluxe? 3-hole type?
12. I changed the pickup of my Pink Paisley P-bass to an SD QP and I'm a lot happier now.
13. Simon was very kind and helpful. Trust him like your own brother (except if you are Thor ) Cheers Simon John
14. No chance to send the Rotos to Greece?
15. Is this the typical split coil pickup? Cause I'm looking for the 51 single coil one.
16. I got a little red Pandora box from Ian and he was a delight to communicate with. Deal without fear, 5thread is a great fellow! Cheers, John.
17. Hey, I don't want to buy the pedal, but I'm very curious as to how it sounds with a bass guitar.
18. I never liked that whole "image" thing. I'm a musician. It's like asking for a model to know Chinese medieval history. Why?
19.
Bass players are a bit like cooks anyway, never trust a skinny one
I'm 120kg myself and find this approach non-musical and racist. Really glad my bandmates have the same opinions like me.
20. I just got today my pre-EB 2-band preamp-in-a-box made by Badger. It's a great build and a sound to match pedal. Also, we reached three pages of pm's. Craftsmanship, communication, the man has them all and he's a top bloke! If anyone wants to deal with Mike, just do it, don't give it a second thought. Cheers, John.
21. What I have for sale is a Squier Precision with the pickup and pots of a MIJ Aerodyne Precision. Right now it sits at my home all setup and in one piece. I want to sell it in pieces though, because I don't have a case to send it in. Here's the breakdown. Neck from a MIK Squier II made in 1989. Serial number is E980021 and the 9 stands for 1989. It's all maple and it's in excellent condition. Truss rod works great and it's easy as butter to play. Only problem I can think of is, because the head of the tuner is glued to the body, the G tuner is rattling. This doesn't affect tuning though and all four tuners work great. Neck heel width is less than 63.5mm (2.5 inches), like in all Fenders/Squiers now. Must be around 61-62mm. Body is from the new Affinity series, which Fender promotes as alder. I don't have any reason to question that. Some marks and less scratches and one hit right below the input jack (as usual someone dropped it, previous owner, not me). The pickup and the pots are from a MIJ Aerodyne precision and sound very Precision-y. Bridge is stock and nice one. 3 scratchplates to come with it, blue with the peace sign is the one I bought it with and fits exactly. It is hand painted, must have been white me thinks.
22. Alain sold me an EMG BTC Control. Actually, he replied to a WTB ad I had and restored my faith on that particular forum. Apart from that, he is very kind and communicative. Thanks for the whole deal! John
23. Since there isn't a topic for Mike, I'll be the one to start it. I've bought a Korg Pitchblack from Mike. Very easy to communicate and a nice fellow! I hope this is the first of a long series of good transactions for Mike. Cheers PS: When he says I'll post it in a bit, he knows what he's talking about. He lives close to the post office.
24. Somebody please buy this damn bass. It's so beautiful, that I'm thinking about bank loans right now.
25. Price is right. European economics suck.
