Bought Pete's Alembic off him, It Plays lovely and sounds better and Pete was very patient waiting for the money. Had a short chat about bass stuff and exchanged cash, Lovely guy to deal with as others have said. Thanks Pete.

I had a svt2 & 4, I found the 4 to be a great amp a bit underpowered compared to the rating, The Svt2 was the worst valve amp I owned so heavy and uninspiring compared to my 400+ and my old V6, StraightSix has a V6 up for sale you will not believe the tone that baby puts out into the Barefaced cab he has, Pure bliss and he's a great guy to deal with.
Have a great night at The Hop Pocket dude. They're a fantastic audience to play to, one day I might just fulfill a dream of mine and get to play there too. Hey Si, Hope all's well. Pete.
I'm great Pete, The Hop Pocket is a great venue for a Thursday night, It was hit and miss if the Blues night would carry on but its safe now so you have every chance of playing there. Cheers Si

Bought this not long ago but a couple of weeks later bought a Walkabout Combo so I've no need for this. Good condition overall and sounds fantastic, Its a earlier one with the two inputs and works perfectly. Just asking for what I bought it for and I changed the Pre amp valves to new Mesa ones so £430 prefer Pickup from Chorley,Lancs. But I could post with insurance would work out at about £15. No Trades Thanks. Cheers Si

+1 He's got great feel for the music and plays only what is needed, A very rare gift IMO.
the same thing happened to me this week with an EBS HD350 on gumtree, luckily i spotted the dodgyness and reported it. watch out this seems to be quite a common thing at the mo.
Funny enough the EBS was on last Friday and is located the next street down(So they say!)from my drummer friend so I asked if he could collect it but alas no reply, I think they are after a mail order sucker..
I think that anyone who has worked hard to become very good at their profession makes what they do look very easy. Be that carpenter, engineer, or musician. Most people see someone doing something well and it looks easy. How many people have said to you "I wish I could play an instrument. When I was younger I started to learn ....... but never stuck with it. " So I think people know it's hard and takes a lot if work but think because they're enjoying listening and dancing then you must be enjoying playing, so why would you want to be paid?
I think this is true about any physical skill, In the middle ages anyone with a skill that took time to learn like carpenter, stone mason ect were at the upper end of the pay scale/society just for the fact that they could do what others could not do. Now it's undervalued having a skill and that includes entertainment.

G & L 's have never really kept there value compared to other manufacturers (I've owned 5 and would never buy a new one) but there no doubting the quality of them.

I think the Sparkle finish on a Asat is the only one to have IMO, This looks like Dub Junky's Old one, A lot overpriced IMO.

Bought from DV247 as a B stock item its got a little bit of scuffing and a rubber cover missing from the handle but other than that its new, Really lovely sounding speaker and very high SPL's so its good for FOH,Monitor or quite popular with Double Bass/EUB's so a jack of all trades and weighs 18.6 KG for a 1000watts. I will give you the guarantee and sealed bag with manual and locking speaker lead.
