1. Had this as my backup for a bit now but with my band splitting up and no gigs for the future I'm trying to get rid of my excess equipment and free some space up in my music cupboard. Its in pretty good nick with a few marks on top in the Ratfur but the rest of the cab is very clean, never giged by me or the previous owner I was told so stored down at my unit and used for practice, it sounds massive for a combo and is a Littlemark 2 in a 3 x 10 cab. For Sale now for £550 no trades please. Prefer Pickup but I can travel up to a 50 mile radius of Pr7 for Free. I will take some Photo's Tuesday.Cheers Si.
2. Its one of the earlier Tribs I had one the same colour (Great Colour) as well as a US version and TBH there was no real difference between them, great bass and a real Fender destroyer IMO.
3. Bought a mint 1980 one from HW Audio for £300 a couple of years ago and apart from the weight I loved it, Sold it about a year later for £400 on Gumtree and had a guy from Liverpool goading me I would be lucky to get £80 for it - not seen one for less than £600 now.
4. A Fender badged version went for around £650 with a matching Fender 4x10 cab in London around Christmas time so make sure you search Fender as well as Sunn they are out there, somewhere.
5. Believe me he won't change just move on...

11. I used- https://ssl.eurotubes.com/cart/index.php?pa..._category_id=57 But with the £>$ it might not appear so cheap but the JJ Tube/Valves are a great product.
12. Great amps these, They have issued a few new ones not so long back from spare parts so they are still in production
13. Without a doubt thats the nicest looking SB-2 I've seen and I've owned a couple, I'd have one of these over any Fender P/J anyday. Good luck with the trade Keir.
14. If you like a Ric sound but the neck of a Stingray have a look at a Vigier Excess they get so close to the Ric sound just ask Roger Glover and the build quality is second to none with no dead spots on the neck due to the 10/90 neck, The $$ won't get you that sound and is a more woody organic sound but still is a decent bass for the money.
15. What type of LED lights are they might be interested. Cheers

20. " and thats why you should never touch bass strings with superglue on your finger"
21. Really good feature about Ampeg in 'Bass Gear Magazine' if anything the build quality is far better now than in the recent past (Pre US built) with no particle board.
