7. Welcome Bill! I Always have a week on S.Atlantic Ave nearly every year just for your beautiful Beach ( but Biker Week is great fun!)to live there and have that on your doorstep must be pretty special...
8. The Sheer size of it is amazing and mind boggling, Thanks for the photo's.

10. Yep footswitch has gone on mine too! Thought it was just me.
11. Bought about 2 months ago S/H from PMT Salford but TBH I prefer my Mesa for my valve sound. This is one of the last US made ones and is in good nick(racked since new which was 05'ish) , Dave Lunt gave it a full service about 3 weeks ago and all the valves are in good working order. Not Interested in Trades I'm afraid owe my Mrs some money. I'm based about 20 Miles North of Manchester. 12. I'd imagine most S/H basses have been played a lot less than one thats 'New' thats been in a shop for a time and played by everyone who has ever gone in but try proving this theory to the shop owner for a shop soiled bass and he will always call it 'new'.
13. Also quite strange I ordered a Boss GT10 B for £299 this afternoon a very good price and thats dropped to £289 now - Weird
14. Now Mysteriously gone up £100 so not so a bargain..

16. Was it not John Enwistle who was gob smacked the first time he heard the FOH sound in the middle '70's and how it was so different from his radical stage sound, In the end everyone is at the mercy of the soundman (Lucky that I'm the Sound Man )
17. Yet again Keir bought my G & L (2nd One)from me and paid pronto was exceedingly friendly and is a joy to know. A pleasure to deal with and a great taste in Bass'es. Thanks Again Si

21.
i have been in the same trade (window fitter) for the past 12 years so work with power tools every day returned to bass playing about 2 or 3 years ago after a break of many years, but only playing at home joined a band about a month ago and since then, whilst at work, i keep finding myself thinking "if this drill/driver/chisel/saw..etc,etc....slips, then thats me buggered for rehearsals, gigs," etc dont know why, as i have never (touches wood) had a bad work related injury whilst in this job anyone else have similar thoughts or am i just a bloody weirdo before my present job i was a post man and nearly lost the tip of my right hand middle finger in a letter-box related incident
I also did window fitting for about 24 years in that time saw some quite horrific accidents (A doctor once told me without a doubt Glass is the most dangerous of all cut related materials- It will cut you every time ) I was quite lucky and never got hurt but I always wore gloves ect . I still shudder thinking about talking 6mm DG plate in a wood window out.
22. Sounds like a Power Tube problem to me, The Mesa has a fixed bias so make sure you tell the Shop what its for before buying 'just any' 6l6.
