2.
i have been in the same trade (window fitter) for the past 12 years so work with power tools every day returned to bass playing about 2 or 3 years ago after a break of many years, but only playing at home joined a band about a month ago and since then, whilst at work, i keep finding myself thinking "if this drill/driver/chisel/saw..etc,etc....slips, then thats me buggered for rehearsals, gigs," etc dont know why, as i have never (touches wood) had a bad work related injury whilst in this job anyone else have similar thoughts or am i just a bloody weirdo before my present job i was a post man and nearly lost the tip of my right hand middle finger in a letter-box related incident
I also did window fitting for about 24 years in that time saw some quite horrific accidents (A doctor once told me without a doubt Glass is the most dangerous of all cut related materials- It will cut you every time ) I was quite lucky and never got hurt but I always wore gloves ect . I still shudder thinking about talking 6mm DG plate in a wood window out.
3. Sounds like a Power Tube problem to me, The Mesa has a fixed bias so make sure you tell the Shop what its for before buying 'just any' 6l6.

5. I'm sure I've owned this bass once too another regret in my Bass history of selling. In fact I've got a plain Black HH pick guard I'll send up to your Keir when I post the G & L.
6. The Northern G&L Collective strike again
7. The Electrics and hardware are worth the asking price alone and then price the Warmoth Neck/Body into it
8. In my new issue of Thomanns Mailing Sheet they are £680ish new but suprisingly sold out on the Website Which is a secondhand price IMO.
9. The Bass Weighs a dead 9lb and yes it can do a Precision Thump by going into Passive mode and soloing either P/U to suit (In fact thats how I run it Passive) Jeez I'm talking myself into keeping it
10. You Got some real nice stuff there Ollie just love that Goodfellow.

15. US made version with a very attractive upgraded Flame Maple cap on it,Rosewood Board on a Quarter sawn hardrock maple neck. The MFD pickups are very versatile and very aggresive in volume and tone linky to a Trib L2000 but its the same electrics- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WT4AP58jC5o http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...%26L/L2000/10/1 In great condition overall with a couple of small dings on the forearm corner (Which because of the colour are hard to see and impossible to photo) and a bit of a rub mark on the upper rear neck (Photo of this but again hard to see)It Comes with the G&L case with a few small marks but all the latches etc are working. Will throw in a set of Dunlop Strap locks (The Best!) and it has just been strung up with Elixir 45-105 Strings. Was my Go to bass for a couple of years but new bass force's sale and my wife wants her money back I borrowed ! 20. A Schroeder 21012/15 would give you an amazing sound with your amp you would not be disappointed and the dimensions would be less than a normal 4x10.
21. 'Too Shy' by Kajagoogoo is pretty bad then and now.
22. Great Pictures and a real tidy workshop, I love seeing how a piece of wood and wire turn into something so stunning just shows the magic is in the fingers of players and luthiers alike.
