3.
Hi, I have always had a soft spot for the early eighties range of Aria Basses particularly the flagship SB1000. I was lucky enough to purchase an SB1000 after e-mailing every guitar shop I could find on line and eventually paid £495 for a 1980 version which plays like a dream the neck is in almost mint condition and barely has a surface scratch on it! I am just starting out as a player having been an armchair Bass fan since seeing the likes of Pino Palladino and Mick Karn play in the early eighties. Anyone out there own an SB1000 or other models of the Aria - what do you think of their qualities? Cheers, Steve. Did you buy it from Guitar Junction? If so it was my old one.
4. Sold to me,Great Bass Mike really stunning Sound/Neck, I'm afraid I won't be playing many of my other basses for a bit.

I got a '88 Mesa 400+ for not much it was blowing fuses and was missing the front grab handle (!?!Hard Life?) I serviced it and resoldered all the connections and will never sell it, although it does appear Knacked it sounds great but basses they will always come and go.
15. I don't know him but both basses where for sale last week on Gumtree more expensive so there might be a bit of room for offers

17. Very nice I've got a soft spot for both these maker really like any Schecter from this period.
18. Reverb had a S/H Lucas in stock - perhaps Lucas x 2 would be a good answer. http://www.reverb-store.co.uk/clearance.asp
19. I'm a big fan of HK for the size some of the bigger Lucas systems might serve you better (I'm not a big fan of Mackie stuff I've used it but have always gone back to HK, chalk & cheese really) How about the Lucas Max small portable and still gives good Spl.
20. Your right about it being a great bass I think it might be sold now so I'll put it on hold pending Thanks everyone for the nice words. Cheers Si
21. I'll post it for £10 if anyones interested. Cheers Si
