  1. It’s been modded anyway with a volume/tone on one control and new tuners but Was a fair price at £500 but not £750.
  2. Actually he did the same thing on my last purchase but he refunded the difference.
  3. Very poor customer service from Bassdirect today, Last night I bought Fender Mark Hoppus for £499 + £10 shipping by PP this morning About 9am I received a refund which I knew I might because multiple people might buy before it’s took down on the site, but no covering email at all and the bass is back up for sale at £750. A bit of common courtesy for a long standing customer would have been in order.
  4. I have the guitar version and to be honest it's not very well supported with patches, Mine when on Surround drifts a bit and its a common problem. The Sounds are alright but not a patch on my Spark and very limited compared to that. Hope the bass version is better but I would look elsewhere.
  5. No it’s just a Sub, But a powerful lightweight one at that. https://barefacedbass.com/index.php/LF800.htm?page=product-range/LF800.htm
  6. In new like condition with locking Velcro on back. Might trade for a Boss SY1. Now Sold Thanks
  7. Basically a Powered Big Baby with no top end. Can add additional low end heft to a bass rig or a Pair of PA tops. 800watts with various pre set programs. Comes with cover.
  8. 9 Trigger Percussion Pad, Sampler,Looper,Soundcard. Very able Pad compared to the older Roland and Yamaha Pads. In great condition with original box, Mounting adapter and tripod. I have a Alesis pedal too that I will throw in but it’s no cable and not been used with the unit but does work.
  9. Lovely guy I spent many a hour chewing the fat on all things Bass and life, I considered him a friend really. RIP Martin gone but never forgotten.
  10. They are amazing basses , I have a few and its the one I play the most. Helps having a decent setup before it ships out and the EMG's really suit it, Off the back of it I bought a Profile bass and that is equally superb.
  11. I had a Gibson Heritage LP and got a Epi 1960's LP the Epi sounded so close and played better IMO so the Gibson went. I don't think anyone builds bad these days, My Bass Centre Betsy is such a great bass in sound and playability.
  12. These go for crazy money, Bargain.
  13. Depends on what mixer really, Some do have built in emulation with bass amps models with HiZ inputs, I'm sure they are designed to be plug and play. https://www.rcf.it/en_US/products/product-detail/m-18/291173
  14. You sir are a man of good taste 😎
  15. This is a nice piece on them- http://www.yowhatsshakin.com/yowhatsshakin/G%26L_basses.html The l2000e had a pre amp and the early l2000 was passive but got discontinued for the Pre amp version.
  16. I have the April one: Just a superb bass and look at the condition it looks like a reissue, I’m a long time lover of all thing G&l and had a good few but this just feels special.
  17. Still makes me sad the Gibson destruction of the Firebird X because they did not sell, I would have had one if the price was right. They now go for mega money. https://youtu.be/dd7ySopIwog
  18. Just bought a Jag Bass off Etienne, Great guy to deal and talk too , I’m thrilled with the bass . Thanks Again 😀 Si
  19. Great amps I’ve had a couple in the past, I used a old SWR Henry and a Goliath Snr 6x10 with great results. They like the heavy stuff.
  20. The term “Outfit” , For sale Gibson Les Paul Outfit. Implying you are getting more than just a mere instrument.
  21. Put a Ad on JMB there will be plenty of people looking like you for a Start/Jam band, FB also have local Band scenes that you can put a Ad on. Never ask you won't get.
  22. Paypal have started Xoom which on my phone takes over all he other ways to pay and recieve. Costs more to send and no free way to transfer money with that, I hate change for change sake.
  23. https://www.cashconverters.co.uk/shop/product/yamaha-stagepass-500-speakers-and-mixer/1096445?list=Search result Great Speakers these for the money and you will easily get your money back if you ever need to upgrade. The blurb on the page is for the 600 but this is the spec- https://www.yamahamusiclondon.com/STAGEPAS-500-Complete-PA-System/pidYAM-STAGEPAS500
  24. Both basses hang a bit funny from the strap, I'd try both of them first to see if you can get over that IMO.
