1. Not really an intro but Sweet Child must be the most well known even our Milkman sings it
2. I've got one the same colour but mine is minus the preamp really great bass there is a lot to like about it, don't know how much £'s though in the present climate.
3. 'Underground SAI' on Friday St is still the same with old and new speakers crammed to the ceiling still run by the Original SAI guy, Do you remember the Luthier up Carrington Rd? was my first guitar teacher but not very good at either teaching or making
4. But I don't think you would get a CNC'er for $1185 perhaps if you add 2 0's
5. I've still got the CD of them great band IMO very much like Fun Lovin' Criminals but with a edge and darlings of Chris Evans TFI Friday Ahhhh! them where the days.
6.
Dude, how many offers do you have lined up from the EB forum already?
Mine for one but I've not had a reply
7. 8. I've had VC's + LC's guitar combo's before and they have been really impressive and reliable, I hope they were not turning the heads on with no load there
9.
I like that John Birch. It's probably a little expensive though. Is it the same one that was knocking about earlier this year?
Yes a Mr Digits bass again bought for about £360ish sold for £600ish best offer thing and now asking £799, The Anelka of the bass world maybe
10. ‘In music…pure tone, true pitch, exact intonation, perfect harmony, rigid rhythm, even touch and precise time play a relatively small role. They are mainly points of orientation for art… The unlimited resources for vocal and instrumental expression lie in artistic deviation from the pure, the true, the exact, the perfect, the rigid, the even and the precise. This deviation from the exact is, on the whole, the medium for the creation of the beautiful – for the conveying of emotion’ – Carl E. Seashore. 11. Mr Digits is back- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ibanez-Shaftesbury-M...1QQcmdZViewItem Can't seem to find in his history how much he payed for it.
12. Great Amps these, British Boogies was the term in my day when I played one.
13. In great condition for a 14 year old bass, got the transition bridge with all the mutes and the best neck in the bass kingdom IMO looking for £650 or perhaps a good quality amp head . Also comes with a HSC.
14. I had a DB900 for a bit and tried quite a few of the newer DBass's they are a very pure sounding bass amp on super flat setting and grunge up quite nicely on vintage I found the compressors where the best I've heard on any amp and when teamed up with the 115x extension cab gave more volume than even a DB900, a very underated combo is the D Bass in fact the best out there IMO half tempted for another
15. +1 for the Opto stomp its simple and effective and theres nothing better for the money and then the Demeter, big £'s but the mutts thingy's.
16. I thought I'd seen the carpet before The only thing I would be cautious of from the pictures I saw about a month ago was the neck, Rics necks are very easy to bugger up in some peoples hands. It looks real to me but even if its a copy £300 is not a bad price
17. Like most people I'm interested (Very) but sadly no money ATM in these times..
18. Great bass's these and like you said easy on a par with any US Precision out there, should be 3-4 times the price IMO
19. Once doing the sound for my band and I'm wireless at sound check trying to get the levels out front when a guy near the bar said 'Cool how do you get all that electric into your bass without a cable I thought mains voltage couldn't travel through air ' I looked at him nodded and walked back to the stage hoping he would never buy a guitar/bass...
20. I love em,Sound very piano like and last much longer than a uncoated string and are quite cheap £20 from Thomann .
21. Not sure about other colours but Candy Cola looks nice and a good price- http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/fender-jazz-bass/521
22. Did anyone get the £95 BIN Aria SB1000? I was half tempted even without the actives installed.
