1.
I just showed the missus the natural one, the conversation went: "Look at this dear" "it's pretty, you have really started to like natural basses lately" "indeed, but you would kill me if I brought it home" "If we have the money and the space you can have as many basses as you like" This one's a keeper.
Wayne, if you do ever buy a natural bass you do realise Hell will freeze over!!!!
 2. Fantastic Clarky, you must be one happy chappy
 3.
All quiet on the Western Front, I'll be expecting a dawn attck from the East then, som kind of pincer movement perhaps???
Watch your flanks
 4.
I can spell fine, I just have typing dyslexia!
Same as mate
 5.
The need for rack ears is not what I was getting at. The point is that according to you the owner of the SKB case stated that the back of the LMII would be close to the catches of the back of the case. Those catches are on the left and right edges of the case. Due to the width of the case versus the width of the amp they would be over 4 inches away! So it is very very unlikely that the rack would actually cause you an issue. Did you understand that or would you like me to do a diagram? (seriously) RE: Punctuation, this is a written word medium, as such if you wish to be understood it is best practice on this forum to use well puctuated, well spelled and grammatically correct posts. This is not a personal sleight, it is a fact understood by all the non-newbies on here. Please play along.
Dude, I am so glad you edited that due to the bad spelling
 6.
That is one fine looking bass!!
If that comes with a black body, my GAS is gonna go through the roof!!
 7.
... Is it bollocks...
^ Tee-Hee Lovely set up Chris
 8.
I have a whole raft of Trace gear that I think is superb apart from the weight of the stuff. I am seriously considering looking at the lighter weight Mark Bass gear. I currently gig an AH500 into a 4 x 10 for smaller gigs and 4 x 10 with a 1 x 15 for larger gigs. In terms of Mark Bass what would the equivalent gear in their range be and are there any thoughts on price comparison and tone. I would need to sell to buy or exchange upwards. Thx
Lovin the tone I get from my LM3 and Stingray/P Bass. Had the front ported 4x10 cab, nice light weight (for a 4x10), would not say it shone, but received good comments about it. The more powerful 800 watt heads do sound different from the smaller 500 watt heads tho!
 9. Tiz a lush bass Clarky. NOW KEEP HOLD OF IT
 10. Keep the Ray, give it a good set up. Set your amp flat and start tweaking the controls on the bass first and go from there, (thats guessing you have not tried that before) I can get so many good tones out of my HH by using the pickup selecter switch, control knobs and most importantly where I pluck or pick the string. Rays really do seem to respond well to where your right hand is positioned.
 11.
Is the Barefaced Midget small enough?
That might be what you are looking for.
 12.
Yes, I am one of those. It's a shameful business and I'm not proud of what I do!! Actually I'm not at frothing geek level, but I always scope out what gear is being used, raise an eyebrow slightly and nod in a sage like way. It makes me feel like I'm a little bit more special than the rest of the hoi paloi there.
Lol, me too!
 13. Hmmmm, wonder what this would sound like with my NV412?
 14.
Keep us updated with your findings when you gig it etc. Will sound killer!
+1
 15.
I do think they may release a higher wattage one, but I think now is too soon.
+1

 18. Met Dave this morning. A great guy to talk to and would happily deal with him again. Buy, Sell and Trade with confidence. Cheers Mate.
 19. A quick bump for Pablo, really looks after his kit and a great bloke to deal with.
 20. Get the Ray, don't worry about the price, as BE just mentioned, its just phases.
 21. My dream rig. It would be rude to turn the offer down. Stack 'em
 22.
Nope. My P-J tends to be P on 10, J on 0
Same on my Aerodyne.
 23.
Ive been gasing for a P bass lately, big time...pref in sunburst with rosewood...i know very little about them, so a couple of Q's... As ive heard that the P bass pick config can be limited (or am i wrong) Do they make a Pbass with an added Jazz pickup? what are they like.
You can get a lot of sounds from a P Bass depending on where and how you play it. It sits in the mix very well. Don't worry too much about the Jazz pickup. I think everyone should own one If your not looking at getting an 08/09 American model, my choice would be a Jap model.
 24. Yup, brand new and very shiny
