    I had a GK1001 head with a Markbass 4x10 and 2x10 playing in a loud band and never had a problem.

    I had the same problem, I coated the screw with No More Nails and just screwed it back in. Its been over a year like that and so far no troubles.

    The Jap 70's Precision Reissue i bought from the Guitar Emporium has a slightly slimmer neck than a P, its not completely Jazz but somewhere in between. Not sure if that is any help.
