  1. Hi, Guitarist with backing vocals wanted for our recently formed wedding / function band. Female lead vocals, drums and bass all in place. Just having to find a replacement guitarist. All very experienced, motivated and committed. Rehearsals are within the Stourbridge area. Interested? Then drop me a PM....
  2. Superb purchase. Excellent communication, packaging and transaction as a whole. Cheers.....
  3. PM me your offer and we'll go from there...
  4. I've always advertised for players on Gumtree. Ok, you get the occasional bedroom player or dreamer come forward, but all in all it's been pretty good so far.
  5. Like others, I find the figure of 4% making donations disappointing. Basschat is a great resource, so lets keep it in the family. £20 is fine by me. What about some form of fee / subscription for joining up as fully fledged member? Only a suggestion.....
  6. Cheers Doddy, I'll be in touch if need be. We have our first gig on 1st March - anyone out there looking to join a band as a full time member?
  7. Cheers Dave, I'll PM you my contact details. We had another one audition Monday. Good and solid but again, wants to keep his options open. Got another one coming along next week. If he's not suitable, then the position is up for grabs. I wish it wasn't but I want to get this band off the ground so needs must and all that..... Cheers, Simon
  8. Sold my Lakland to Si. Really pleasant and smooth transaction. I would certainly deal with him again, no questions. Cheers.....
  9. We are just venturing into the realms of lighting. I've been looking at the Kam Powerbar for the danceoor. Has anyone any experience of these? Any good? Adequate by themselves for a medium size hall or do we need something else too? We'd also like a colour wash for the band, perhaps with the colour changing every 2-3 mins or so. Would the best way to do this be to have 2 mounted led lamps on each back corner pointing down or lit from the front 2 corners? Any recommendations as to makes, companies, stands etc??? I've got a budget of £400. I don't want to sacrifice on quality, so if I need to raise more, so be it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  10. Sold..... Thanks for all the enquiries.........
  11. All sorted now, thanks for all your offers and help....
  12. Sold pending the usual....
  13. Some very good deals on Saab estates at the moment. I've just got one in anticipation for the extra space for my own gear and the main PA. Very pleased. One thing I don't like between estates and hatchbacks though is that estates generally have that sliding roller blind thingy as a parcel shelf! Don't like it !!!
  14. I tend to download it onto my iPhone and transcribe it from there. If it goes off on one, I'll put it through the 'Amazing Slow Downer' app which will adjust the speed but not the pitch. Really useful. Also enables you to adjust the pitch in semitone steps. Transcribing wise I usually punch it straight into Sibelius.
  15. Well I've tried it, but find myself only using one setting and not utilizing it fully. So, I'm going back to my small pedal collection. Condition is excellent. A few small light surface scratches but nothing major and nothing that would show up on the photographs and believe you me, I'm incredibly fussy. It comes with all the original packaging, power supply, manuals and Software (unused so untested). £110 which includes postage and packing within the UK. Picture uploader has gone funny on me again. If you want any pics, then please send me your email address by PM and I'll forward a couple on.
