3. I cant seem to access or see the photos in the link?
4. I like it. Her "Tell me something good" vocals sound a bit like Macy Gray
5.
Hmm, bit of a gap between me and the next person - no other helpful BCers in Scotland?
I'm further south than you (7 miles!!) so hopefully that fills the gap a little. I've done bass set-ups, pickup and preamp changes, wiring repairs and changes such as adding coil split switching, shielding, battery box routing (eek!) etc. I will try and help fellow chatters where I can.
6. If the serial number is 7426 then its the same bass that's in my avatar! ;-)
7. Yip, it really is that simple When I realised it, there was a resounding clunk that could be heard for miles around....lol. I can now see the mode "patterns" on the fretboard which also allow me to work out the other possible song chords!
8. I’ve read your post and had a look at the manuals for your gear to find out what they do and how they operate. I have a couple of questions to start with: What sort of settings did you have your bass and amp eq’s set at? Have you tried your bass straight into the amps active input, without the compressor in the effects loop? How did it sound? Have you tried your bass straight into the amps active input, with the compressor in the effects loop but with the bypass switch enabled? How did it sound? 12.
If you have a sax player you could always do "Pick Up The Pieces" as the "Above Average Weight Band"!
....or should it be "Pick Up The Pizzas"?

14. Have a look at the following. It probably will cause more questions than give answers....lol http://buildyourguitar.com/resources/lospennato/index.htm
15. Well bubinga I guess its just you and me (and several million others ) who think its a great song . There's also quite a few cracking bass lines in the bands back catalogue that are great to work out and play along to.
16. Have you checked the internal fuse? I managed to find this photo off the web and added an arrow showing the location. Fingers crossed
17. I (and a few others on here) use a Sony DWZ wireless system. I use the B30 version but there are several options available here: http://www.sony.co.uk/pro/products/broadcast-products-dwz-series-digital-wireless-packages I bought mine through Thomann as they often have good pricing on these.
18. I think free beer = drunk band = bad gig! Are they paying their bar staff in beer for the night?
19. Just sold my Skjold '92 bass to Si. Great comms and nice guy to deal with. Highly recommended. Hope you have fun with the bass Mike
20. I've sent a wireless back for repair and got a replacement back within a month. I guess it depends how busy they are (summer hols etc.) and also if they are waiting on parts. I would give them a quick call to check. They are usually very good with their service.
21. Thanks guys.....guess I was to slow for this one! Doh
22. Has this bass gone? Your duplicate ad said "traded"
23. I have a Tecamp Puma 900 and like it a lot.You can dial in a wide range of tones with plenty of umph when required!
