1. Stunning bass. W&T build and sound quality are excellent. Good luck
2. Yes....sssshhhh Actually I've not been on the Status forum ....what's the word on the bass?
3. Mine.... "Miss Myrtle"
4. Not happy.......NOT happy.....I'm trying to thin the herd and have just sold one bass today! Last thing I really needed was this to come along....... Whats the body thickness? Is it fitted with recessed straplocks? Does it come with a hard case? Does it come with a free, no-quibble excuse for my wife?
5. Great track that we do in my band.

7.
... my plan was to hang it off the back of the PA speaker.....
Careful, PA speaker = big magnet = trashed data storage on your tablet. I too am interested in a set list app and have found "Setlist helper and songbook" on Play. Only read the details so far but keen to see if it does what I need it to
8. What were you not happly with the Mackie sub - sound, volume, clarity, punch? Does it need to be powered or are seperate speaker / amp an option?
9.
.... he isn't a bass player himself (but a real good luthier)
Does he normally make basses? If not I would look for someone who does.
10.
Thanks for the replies. However, cool is not a word usually associated with me lol
It is now! Welcome oh cool one
11. If you go for the golf bag we do expect you to dress in the same vein for your gigs....lol Pictures will be required.
12. I use a "golf bag" bag. 6 mic stands, 2 speaker poles fit in easy. It has lots of padding, big zip opening, strong handles and wheels on the bottom for ease of moving. Something like this <£20 http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4ac91e0046
13. Its also on Glumtree for £3,500. I'm not so sure about the left handed neck on it though....looks odd to me.
14. Deja Vu Works in both languages, you're doing covers so its all stuff people have seen before .....hey didn't that just happen? I could offer to licence (for a grand total of nothing) a variation on my bands name "Groove Creuse" Détendre (kick back / relax) à l'abri (under covers) Copie Chat (copy cat - ideal for covers) Mike
15. Stunning colour and bass.......you taking orders?

17. I sold a Yamaha power amp to Gerry. Very quick payment and good comms. Many thanks.
18. Sold Mike some Smith strings. Good and easy deal. Thanks again.
19.
You've got to admire their balls.
I'd rather not....
20. Although your based in France I'm sure there some similar EU type law / guidance / ruling whatever they call it that we apply in the UK regarding "fit for service". If a TV or washing machine goes but within 5 years, although its out of the initial 12 month warranty, you can argue that its not fit for purpose and get a replacement. I would check on this and get back to the supplier arguing that mics under normal use should last more than 3 years. Might be worth a try.
21. Just bought a DR Bass cab off Alan. I think he made a mistake and sent me a brand new one because this one looks too good! Very easy deal to do and lightning fast shipping. Thanks again.
22.
There seems to be quite a bit of resentment coming out in a few of the posts on this topic. I'm closer to the end of my playing career than where I began. That fact alone makes me quite sad, but I have quite a few years ahead of me to enjoy yet. I have a few basses, only a couple of which could be arguably considered high end. I don't consider them to be, but others might. None are custom to my spec, so I don't look at them that way. I have worked and played bloody hard over the years to earn the money to pay for what I have. I am considering ordering a Wal, which I guess some would consider "high end". I will pay for it outright with my own money, which I earned. It might have gold hardware. It might not. It might have a quilted maple top. It might have an ebony fingerboard. I don't know. I haven't decided yet. I know I'll have fun putting the finer details together if it happens and I know I'll enjoy playing it even more. I also know that I won't give a flying f*** what anyone thinks of me when I turn up down my local with it for a Saturday night pub gig. I'm not a postman and I don't have a swimming pool.
