1. Hi, Whats the nut width and string spacing at the bridge? Does it come with a hard case? Thanks
 2. Buy it now is £1,400+.....and someone has been a bit "enthusiastic" with the sandpaper!!!! http://www.ebay.co.u...049195018183460
 3.
Slug tape! Genius!
I'd love to take the credit on this.........but I got the idea off another post......on here I think it was
 4. Yip, I had the same problem (mine was second hand). Lots of earth hiss and fizz until I shielded everything - battery compartment electrics routing and pick-up recesses. I joined all of them together by soldering short lengths of wire from one to the other and then finally to earth. Used slug tape from B&Q Waaay better now. I think Fender should be highly embarrased about sending out basses that cost in the region of £1k+ with this type of issue. There are a lot of budget basses that dont have this problem. Right.....just got to go and find a ladder so I can climb down off my soapbox....
 5.
Is that a brass plate at the heel of the fretless neck? I think Wilkes used to do one like that for slapping Is it any good?
Yip its a brass plate and is for slappin' It seemed to give a good attack like frets would and also protected the end of the fretboard.

 7.
Do you mean this one? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130663266551
Oops yes thats the one. Thanks for posting the full link.
 8. Just been sent a link to my old 1979 Musicman Sabre bass that I put in px for a Jaydee Calibas 5 string in 1998. That was through the Embassy in Mansfield if anyone remembers it? I'd travelled down to buy a matching pair of 5 string Wals (John Vannamans own if I remember, with elm facings). I think he was asking £1500.....yes you read it right 2 Wals for what you now pay for the jack socket and an old set of pickups!!! Been gutted ever since....but I got the Calibas and was a very happy chappy. Anyway, back to the plot......I'd owned the bass for about 11 years and when I'd bought it it had 2 Gordon custom fretted and fretless necks which i swapped occasionaly. From the looks of the photos the bass is in exactly the same condition I sold it 14 years ago!! Ah it brings back memories of some good times......enjoy http://Musicman Sabre bass. 4 string. 9. Nice bass....shame the only thing I have to trade is bits of paper with some numbers on and a famous ladies picture.....I wonder how many you would need?
 10.
I'm trying to push for a stripped down reggae version of it, should spice it up a little
We do it...standard chorus with a reggae style verse and rap section People dont recognise it until the vocals come in and then its "Aaah!" Goes down well with the punters.
 11. Thanks for the offer but I'll pass. I'm not in a rush to sell. Heres one for comparison: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JOE-MEEK-VC6CS-MEEKBOX-MIC-PRE-AMP-NICE-/350529278138?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item519d2c50ba
