so your a three string bassist?
lovely bass by the way
4 strings + 50% = 6 strings
Ya know it's a bad state of affairs when I have to search out my gear porn thread to remind me what model my Jazz is LOL
All you whippersnappers out there , enjoy your memory while you still have it !
I had mine done a couple of years ago , mainly because a couple of the pots were becoming scratchy. The tech found a couple of suspicious looking solder joints also ( allegedly) and gave it a hoover out ... oh yea, and provided me with the electrical certificate to show it was safe .
It was the first time I've had an amp serviced but it did give some piece of mind . I had some pretty important gigs shortly after and it's always nice to know your equipment is working at it's best.
I've had some dealing with these guys in there studio and they're top fellas.
No idea on prices etc for mobile but give them a call. They're very easy going.

It might be a little over the top for what you want
They're near Uckfield, East Sussex.
+1 Funnily enough I've just come across this thread whilst listening to his new album that arrived in the post this morning.
Awesome stuff and a top fella !!
Awesome. Thanks for doing the legwork on this Nik... I'm in...... I should think I'll bring the CS Jazz, L2500, and Eggle ( as I didn't notice any of them on the list of basses attending) ... Looking forward to it !!
Nick.
Would you believe it? 47 watchers and only one bid....
47 watchers hoping to get it at £251.01 lol
I've been keeping a bit of an eye out for one of these for years .
If I hadn't the other month picked up my custom classic v I would've had been onto this one. Great price too!
p.s that little rig looks like a bit of a wolf in sheeps clothing
I didnt send the picture .... I explained the situation and said I'd send a picture if need be , as some companies don't like accepting attachments unannounced.
I'll give them a call tomorrow when I get home from work if they haven't replied
Does anyone know where I could get hold of these screws that've come loose and liberated themselves from my cs jazz.I still have the little round ferrules, as they were taking shelter in my hard case.
If not , what would be the best way to describe them (i.e. there position) to an email to Fender UK?
Cheers,
Nick.
Ok cheers will have a gander.

I got a white pearloid from dazbootman and it's very nice !
The original pickguard is now on my wall with Marcus Miller's signature on it
Who was fronting the animals. i'm guessing it's not Mr burden.
Nope .. the line up was John Steele, Peter Barton, Mickey Gallagher , and John Williamson.
We opened for The Animals ... sell out show , excellent atmosphere , great grub backstage , best of all .... didnt need to take my rig, as there bassist let me use his Ampeg 8x10 rig ... happy days
Love this bass that I bought from our very own BassJase few months ago but not really sure that I'm a 5 stringer... also tend to prefer short-scale basses. (apols for the lazy approach but I've attached original ad with photos - it's late and I need to get to bed )

Would be interested in any trade offers of decent short-scale 4 stringers, particularly of the vintage variety. Alternatively if you have a pile of cash burning a hole in your pocket please just p.m.
Thanks

How large a pile of cash are you looking for?
