    These are great pedals. I have one. Sound even better if you stack them with a bit of overdrive or distortion before it and a phaser after it. Try it. You can thank me later.

    How is this still here? If you are not in a super loud band these things are great. Perfect for recording too with 2 DIs. Fantastic Ampeg all valve amp. Only moved mine on because I joined a VERY loud band. These now are about £200-£300 more new. Bargain.

    Just used my ABM 500 on a gig last night for the first time. Loud, clear, great authority. Very impressed. The amp wasn't bad either! 😉

    Think I might be in the minority as I've recently upsized my rig. Gone from an Ampeg PF50t valve amp through a barefaced super compact (1x12) to an Ashdown ABM 500 through a barefaced Super Twin (2x12). Works for me!

    I used the one in Greenwich twice last week. It was fine but I actually like talking to the staff, other bands, etc to keep my finger on the pulse of what is happening locally. Feels like the world is now being taken over by distruptor business models where there is zero human interaction because the owners have Aspergers and think that everybody else does too. This can only lead to more social isolation and mental health problems

    You can still keep your compressor if you use a Rodenberg overdrive/distortion. It's a 808/909b combined with a switch.
