I enjoyed that, thanks for posting. Did you play all the instruments yourself? Nice mix, very clear.
Thanks Blademan_98! I did play all the instruments - except for the percussion loops which are from Garageband (not Logic)
4. Like the song! A good mix and it could be a hit! All the best! (2p: distorted guitars are too prominent - drops back too much when it switches to clean. voice could be more in the forefront.)
5. Looks gorgeous! Are there any sound clips available? If-only-I-trade-my-Shuker-6-FL-NT-for-this-bump!
6. To the one and only, Mr. Marley. (http://soundcloud.com/victorvic/redemption-song) (Gear: Ibanze SR506, Toy Melodica, E-MU 0404, Garageband Loops)

So, here it is! (http://soundcloud.com/victorvic/something) (Credits: Fender Jazz JP Signature + Takamine acoustic gat + Strat copy + Logic percussion loops)
8. Beautiful Basses! It's a pity I didn't see the post earlier - Would have bought the Butterscotch one immediately!

SOLD

Glad to be the buyer! Please dealing with you mate!
10. PM sent. how different does the bubinga sound from the default maple 4LX?
11. That is a wonderful looking bass! PJ #ftw! Is this still available for sale?
Price drop to.......£875.......an absolute bargain for a unique beautifully built instrument. I'll even bung a new set of strings on it.
12. OMG! That Maple, The Maple! Bump!
13. Nice 1! What strings are those on it?
14. BUMP! Incredibly low price for a great bass guitar! I own one and I cannot play any other 6 string because I am spoilt by the comfortable spacing on this one.
15. Perfect! Looks like a beautiful dream!
16. Oh man, would buy it in a flash if not for the 19mm spacing and 36" scale. All I can do is bump!
17. I have one of these Bump! It is an excellent Fender Jazz Bass. I have removed the ashtray pick-up cover from mine as well and the top half of the pickguard too.
18. Newly acquired (2nd hand) Euro LX4 with Zebra wood top. Pre-Amp modded to EMG BQC. Gold Knobs. First Spector, of a few more to follow, I think!
19. Thanks dc2009. Have no clue about Darkglass and definitely don't work for them! Darkandrew - I first learned about the tonepump from this video http://youtu.be/BGH7jFTqrD8 Also heard about the TW pick-ups but didn't know about the colour difference in the label. Thanks for the tip!
20. Wise folks of BassChat, I am glad to say that I joined the fortunate group of Spector owners here! I picked up a Euro 4 LX with Zebra wood top, from Ebay. The owner had added gold knobs and replaced the TonePump (included) with EMG BQC. I am very happy with the sound but the best part of this bass is it is the most instantly comfortable bass I have ever played! The design is simply brilliant. It is so much fun to play it simply because it is so easy to do so! Of course, now I should add another one with the default Maple top and TonePump to check how that sounds and also find out how easy the 5LX, Rebop and 6 string models are to play!

SOLD

Wanted to find out what this might sound like and found this video http://youtu.be/zFxuWjWhQBc Must say I like the sound of it!
22. Didn't track this topic and came back to it only today! Thanks for the welcome folks!
23. Bump! I have the USA non-CS version - no epoxy. It is an amazing fretless bass - it is simplicity itself. I think it has a 62 jazz bass neck - slender and fast. The tone is definitive! As good a fretless Fender as you can get!

Wow! That has to be one of the fastest sales on this forum! Congrats!
25. Thanks to all the folks who leave feedback here.
