1.
Thanks for that! So how heavy is one of these then? I like the idea of a super slim neck. One of my favourite necks is on My Kubicki which is particularly anorexic.
Not sure about the weight but the neck is to die for, so slim and fast. When I bought my GB from Bernie I took mine down there and he couldnt believe how slim it was, infact he said he would never even try to build one the same.
2.
That is a really sexy looking bass. What's the history of the DudePit Ltd bit?
ooo shall I? Well the Dudepit is a Lakland based forum in the USA. Steve Barr the owner also owned a retail bass outlet and commisioned the first Lakland DPLE1 (dudepit Limited edition) having to order a batch of 24 to get the special spec that these basses have, there has since been a DPLE2 a white Pbass thpe with a darkstar and a DPLE3 a decade based bass. These are very collectable and superb basses.
3. I've yet to have a bad experience on this forum, not that I'm willing it on or any thing, but just everyone I've have had contact with or dealings with are just good peeps. Plus one for Basschat.
4. Now Sold guys thanks for the incredible amount of interest. Andy.
5. Plus one for all the above, I actually tried one today infact Mike finished it off so I could try a 1x15" with my MB head, they are scarily light but packed a mean punch and all the goodies, crossovers, tweeters etc wer top notch kit, certainly worth a look.
6.
I will do - I have only just placed the order (last week) and understand that it could take up to 5 months to build. Must be patient, must be patient, must be patient - how long now?
At least tell us the spec, woods, colour etc.
7.
I sympathise completely but I would have stuck with the Epifani - everything from there is downhill IME/HO. Good luck Andy
my crapped shoulder just couldnt handle it, ive had a frozen shoulder for nearly 2 years and the pain is no fun at all, that is what drives my search......
8.
Yeah, it's from the same piece of wood as mine - which is the one which is in bass guitar magazine. It's funny that you should mention that your ear doesn't like those cabs. I used to run EBS Neo cabs - and I must admit, I far prefer the sound of the prolines. The prolines have a certain warmer tone about them than the Neos. To me, the Neos sound very, very clinical. Not saying that one is better than the other... but they are very different. It may be the case however, that Markbass heads and EBS cabs are just not a good match in this case.
yep that is my thinking, infact im gonna A/B em at the bass merchant tomorrow, and see what i come up with.
9. Im partial to all things yellow and black.
10. Well its just a case of two busses coming along at the same time, and you can only get on one!
11. Thats a mighty special example of what is a great bass.
12. 2 mint EBS Neo 112's F/S. these are in perfect condition, but just not me! 300 watts each 8 ohms and only 12 kilos, they have the two tilty handles on each. Just looking to get what I paid. so £299 each plus £20 each shipping, which is a stonking bargain. Need to get my replacement sorted, so the deal may take a couple of weeks, but pm me to secure and a small deposit. These list at £529 each at the Gallery. Could ebay em, but rather sell them here.
13.
Is that the GB bass recently seen in Bass Guitar Magazine? It looks superb, splendid rig there mate!
No its not, and I havent seen the edition, but I believe this is its sister from the same piece of walnut facing. As for the rig, yep it looks fine and my bad shoulder loves it but my ear isn't! Ive only had em 5 minutes but the sound just aint me, may well have to move em on....mmm
14.
Like this one... http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=19219&hl=tech
Thats the old Tech Sounsystem stuff, I was after finding out if any body had imported any Tecamp stuff yet.
15. I think everyone agrees the Tech Soundsystems stuff was great, I've been considering sticking my neck out and importing a TecAmp cab for fun, anybody got one?

17. Nice and light, nice and tight!
18. Bought off this very site my 2 new EBS Neo 112's (thanks mr choc-tele) posing with my GB (wouldn't Bernie be proud!) Looking forward to first outing next week. Funny I'd been looking for a lightweight pair of cabs, logged in at work, as you do, well don't you?, and saw these, deal was done within 10minutes of the listing!
19. It is the very same, I was hoping he was gonna let me have it on extended loan, as he is an old guy and doesnt play anymore, but now he says see how much I can get for it, so there ya go, ill forward him any offers.
20. This is a very early offer of a SG style original Jap made bass from the 60's, in pretty damn good condition. Some chips that have been touched up on the rear of the neck but virtually mint from the front except for a few touched up dinks, nuffin serious, all the stuff works well, no issues and boy is it loud and has that thud that we all like! This is a no namer, although there are some very feint scratchings where the name might be but tbh it looks like it never had a name on it, the only markings is made in japan on the neck plate. Twin pups with 3 way selector, tone and volume. Super bound neck with mop blocks. At this moment in time I am just looking for an indication of what folk would offer.
21. As you probably know I had one of these and can vouch for there quality and sound and rareity. Im very tempted as im looking for a Jazz! Bestest ever slimest neck ive ever come across. Bump
22. Top of the morning to ya you old cobber!
23.
Come on people! You're missing a bargain here! It's in mint condition
i hope you have your tongue in your very large cheek!
