I'm not at my own peril at the moment - is it OK to ignore it at somebody else's peril?
If you are unable to commit to your own peril, you will need to nomitate somebody else who can stand in for you. Other wise your own Boo Boo could be compromised and cause exceissive wear and possibly failure. As original Boo Boo's are quite hard to find, the risk is probably not worth taking. If you need assitance in finding an alternate peril person then a younger sister or under 40 mum seem popular.

Just to clarify. My Boo Boo is an original Boo Boo and not a cheap Chinese Boo Boo. My Boo Boo polishes up until it sparkles unlike the Chinese one which remains slightly tinted. My Boo Boo is also dated 9th June 1970 so pre CBS/Korea/Indonesia/China. I can confirm it is 100% the real deal. You won't find a better Boo Boo anywhere.
Still think they should have doen a fretless
Yep, this has really pissed me off. Been asking for one on the EB forum as have others and not a response from EB. They don't really seem to care or be interested. Go on the Warwick forum and at least they talk to you.

Performance is quite annoying but what an amazing group of musicians. The thing that I loved most of all was the bass tone. Just awsome. Might get some stuff and see how it sounds without the visual image.

NOW SOLD TO Floyd Pepper. Many thanks Jim and great to meet and chat to you. For sale is my sunburst Fender CIJ 62 RI Lined Fretless Jazz. It is in very good condition and dates from 2002 - 2004. The body is alder with vintage reverse tuners and US vintage pickups. I bought this as I needed it for an album I was recording on which has now finished. I would like £400 which includes a basic gig bag and postage in the UK. If paypal then payer pays for fees. Not looking for trades unless towards a fretless Stingray. I am in Surrey and any trial welcome. Any questions then please do not hesitate to ask.

Looks nice. I just wish they would do a Classic fretless or a SBMM Ray34 fretless.

Here is my Stingray. Its a 2008 (I think) and I bought it from Tom1946. It is identical to the one that I bought with my first record deal advance back in 1998 which I stupidly sold some years later. So this is basically replacing my dream bass but thankfully sounds and plays much nicer The only issue is I don't really play it as I prefer to play my Fender Precision. I really really want to get a fretless Stingray but can't afford it so its either sell/swap this for one, get a fretless neck (rare as rocking horse poo) for this one or just not get one at all.

Such a wonderfull, talented bass player. R.I.P Mick.

Oh one more before I forget, Tears For Fears - Woman In Chains The thing thats really annoying about this song is it is so perfect in every way The bass sounds superb and is on a 5 string Warwick. Oleta's voice is just amazing. Not only do the drums sound fantastic but the snare sound is amazing. The harmonies are spot on. Even the female model in the video is good looking. Plus Roland has great hair and a great voice. Its just perfect.

Quite a few for me but I love these ones for sure, China Crisis - Christian (No Idea who is playing the bass on this though) Talk Talk - Tomorrow Started (Paul Webb) Paul Young - Everytime You Go Away (Pino) Oleta Adams - Get Here (Pino)

I would like some kind of non Fender fretless. Maybe a Stingray, Warwick or Status. Need to sell the Fender CIJ 62 fretless jazz and Squire VM fretless first. I think that's all I need.
Of course we are not comparing ourselves to JJ, or Flea, Mark King or Scott Thunes, but we can surely say we are proud of our bass playing to some degree at some point.
I think this knocks the nail on the head for me. I've had a little success but I'm generally unknown (do get noticed from time to time) but I have had comments from other more famous bass players saying I'm a good bass player. In fact, I gave up bass playing when my band folded and the only reason I took it up again was because a few people on different occasions were shocked to here I was not playing anymore and I was wasting a talent by not playing. So for me, the point is, on one hand there is no doubt that JJ, Flea, Mark King etc are all superb bass players, but I am 100% sure that there are as good and if not better bass players here who are just not in the limelight. We all know that talent rarely is the reason for success these days and I am sure a lot of bass players here would be considered among the ranks of great bass players if they had the media exposure. I think we should all be proud of our achievements, despite how big or small they are as long as our goals are realistic.

Don't like Stuart Hamm's playing, music or style but I like this bass. Subtle and streamlined. No fuss about it but modern looking. Gets my vote. Would look great in some funky colours like lime, orange or yellow but would also look great in natural.
