That's fair enough, but like you mentioned, you need to have a pretty good case and it'll be fine :-)

No one would dare put anything on top of it, with the mono tick attached there just is not room. Had mine at the back of the locker and a guitar in front.

Recently flew to a gig in Paris from Gatwick using Easyjet, and had no problems getting my bass on. In a mono case with also the mono tick attached. I found that as long as you're first in the queue you're fine. Myself and the guitarist had no problems and had them both in the overhead lockers.

Nothing better than turning up to a gig with a DI and running IEMS. Sounds fantastic, and takes about 30 seconds to set up and pack down.

Thanks for the info dude. The only thing was, on the Interference light, it was only at the bottom, indicating that the signal was okay. No metal structures in the way of me either. Was a huge event, big Shure antenna//masts things were deployed as we were all running IEMs. I just turn up and take the pack so have no idea of configuration.

hmm. Well it was in a huge venue, lots of cameras, everything was wireless e.t.c You guys are making me think twice about it. Maybe I'll email Chris and see what his thoughts are. Thanks guys :-)

Used it in Paris last weekend, sounded great, but was dropping out when out of sight, which is expected. Was a huge stage with a walkway going into the crowd, but was getting lost at the very end. Anyone know the max distance it is meant to go? Also any ideas on how to replace the sticky pad, had some issues with it. But apart from that, I love going wireless. It's great, also setting up the Smoothound was so easy.

Ringos drumming was just perfect. Go listen to Rain, or the newly released Sgt Peppers with just the instrumental tracks, lovely stuff.

Finally purchased one of these! Looking forward to trying it out.

Pelco for gear/accessories I've got a bass flight case which I wanna sell- although the foam is cut out for a P-bass. I couldn't be arsed taking a flight case when I went abroad, so I use my Mono m80 and that is fine.

Got this set-up as well. Along with my Aguilar SL rig, I can travel super light. Even better when I don't need a cab and just DI all evening. So much easier.

Just had my P-Bass re-fretted from these guys: http://www.eternal-guitars.com/basses Based near Chichester. Had a Re-fret, a new pot, electrics cleaned, new strings and a 1 inlay replacement. Came to around £300.

With Dep gigs, just look at the drummer. All the time, beginning and end, then you're fine. I don't do pubs as I can't live off them, but functions/weddings/originals I can and dep on these as a Job. It's my role as a session player that's all.
