2.
The best are always the stripper bars or the university parties. For the same reasons actually.
Quote of the day for me :-)
3. Agree with alot of the comments about the size of the crowd versus how good the crowd were. Smallest probably about 5 or 6 Biggest - Have played live on both Capital Radio and Radio London so however many people listened to those brodcasts. I have mimed in front to 30,000 people at a Live and Loud event at Hampden Park Stadium backing an artist - does that count?? :-)
4.
Cool - although I always go out of my way NOT to meet any band I like just in case they turn out to be idiots Although I'm sure DT are to professional to come across that way
Wished i'd thought about that before meeting Joe Satriani
5. Sweet! great band - still need to get the new album, but have loved the tunes i've heard so far.

8. Anybody come across these guys before? - not sure i like the 'nearly a singlecut' upper horn, but they have some pretty basses on their site http://www.pelosibasses.com/ Currently one on the UK Ebay. G
9.
They don't feel or sound that different from where I'm standing
Depends where you're standing :-) I've never thought of trying Dunlops TBH, i'm still loving Rotosound RB's and Warwick Reds....mainly due to the price.... G
10. For what it's worth, i enquired about a couple of basses they had and had a great prompt email response back from them with loads of extra detail etc. coupled with an invite to pop in and give the basses a try. G
11. I too have been looking at Singlecut basses recently - growing to love the shape/design (except the Warwick Thumb SC of course - hideous) Loving some on the ACG site
12. may want to check in with this dude http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=153499&hl=olp
13. Nice pics mate, a great collection there.
14. Great to see some good feedback on the forum - good job Stringbusters
15. Given the above post, surely this thread has run it's course and should be locked. It seems unfair that it stays at the top of this board (yes i KNOW my post will put it there again) but a point has been raised and discussed, and in my opinion should be closed.
16. my local CC is full of knackered mountain bikes and wii games, few nice basses would be a bonus!
17. i have a Nissan Note that i quite like.
18. That's a nice looking bass mate, but i gotta ask - why did you buy it? You're obviously a fan of all things Mark King/Status/Jaydee etc and I saw your post on Statii looking for a graphite necked Status with a pretty hefty budget? You need to control your GAS dude!! :-) Good luck with the sale mate Graeme
19. blaming this thread for me looking at Status basses again...GAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
