  12. I tried the boiling method a few years ago adding some washing detergent....seemed to work, but the strings didn't last too long. I'm going to give the purple meths a go - thanks for the tip!

  21. Hi all For my Bluesy Rocky Funky trio, it's either I Shot The Sheriff, the Thrill is Gone, or Crossfire by SRV. 2nd set is usually Superstition. For my covers band, it's Vertigo (U2) or Valerie. 2nd set is usually Summer of 69 Great thread Graeme
