For sale Set of JO Lakland flats, light guage. [size=4]The silk on the G string has come away at the top end so they need some careful wrapping at the top to stop it slipping.[/size] [size=4]These have been used on my J bass for 6 months so are played in.[/size]

Update - The purple silk Laklands sounded great on the P bass. Growly! They were new so nice a bright (for a flat) Might have to get another set for my Jazz!

I bet it's more of a case of expecting to hear the sound you're used to in the mix. I had the same last night using the P rather than my usual J. Sounded growly and great for some songs then others where the bass is more prominent or subtly it sounded strange.

What's the tone like on the OBT500 with a BF Compact ? I really don't know what I want, but I fancy a change from My MiBass set up.
