Really cool unit, especially for the vocal sounds which I haven't managed to get close to using anything else. Think "Sexy Boy" by Air - £130 Octavius Squeezer. My favourite filter of all time. Analogue unit with digital functionality. These things are great and getting harder to come by - £250 Panda Audio Future Impact with small housing case. I might be able to spare a USB midi lead too. I've updated the firmware, but this is not the latest hardware version - £180 Copilot Cubic with box. This is for massive octave down square wave sojourns. You don't see many around - £100 Subdecay Noisebox with box. I do love the guys at Subdecay, they make some crazy stuff. This can get very gated. Example video here - £90 Line 6 FM4 with box. I love the slow sub sweeps you can get with this thing - but it does loads. Can save presets. Please note, one of the batteries which was in the unit exploded - so there's gunk in the battery compartment, and I wouldn't want to run this off batteries again. However, I have the power supply, and this all works perfectly. A lower price to reflect this: £100.

Original version - £125 Earthquaker Devices Data Corruptor with box - A phase-locked loop (PLL) design, but has HUGE chewy synth value with it's suboscillators. I think of this far more as a monophonic synth. I love this thing. Much loved analogue beast, in a tiny package - £125. SOLD Pearl OC-07 My favourite of the bunch actually. Old and battered, and I used it exclusively for about 12 years. Comes with original box. Please note that the casing around the battery component has cracked, so that is held together with a bit of tape. However, the unit is completely functional and plenty robust still. I really love this thing and will be sad to see it go. Tricky to find, so I've priced this as £130. SOLD EHX Micro POG with box. Pretty much standard issue. I used this when splitting my signal a la Royal Blood. £110. BOSS OC-2 *modified*. This has "the square wave mod", which I know very little about. I bought this off Basschat about a decade ago, and can't find much information about it. Basically, it combines OC-2 with an internal fuzz circuit which offers synthy, chewy goodness. £50. SOLD.

- Price drop - Now £1050 Up for sale is my sunburst Musicman Stingray Ex (1998 I believe). 3-band preamp, lovely rosewood neck and one of the nicest sunburst finishes I've seen. The "Ex" means that this is a USA stingray, but assembled in Japan. It comes with a non original hardcase. This is a fairly reluctant sale. It is the lightest 'Ray I own, although I am basing this on feel rather than use of dodgy kitchen scales. The previous owner estimated this to be 9 lbs (advert here). There are some minor battle scars on the edge of the body - this bass has been played-in and loved, but not abused. Happy to deliver/meet within an easy drive of Exeter. I often gig in Plymouth. I can find a cardboard box and happy to discuss quotes for UK shipping etc.

OOOH! Can I just double check if this is fender "surf" green, or sea foam green? I know the add says the former, but it's a tricky colour to capture in photos etc. GLWTS

***NOW SOLD*** I love these basses - I have 3 of them. They are that good. I have used this one in a Red Hot Chili Peppers cover band, but I'm swapping this out with a Flea Jazz - purely for accuracy. Shame really, as whilst the Jazz is great, it is not as playable as this. Note that this is not the cheaper "Sterling" version. These are passive basses - but the growl and attack is there. The ability to consider series v parallel is awesome, so too is the "boost" function of the volume knob (push/pull). I use that quite often. These short scale versions stand up very favourably to the full size version - in no way are these "gimmicky". We actually tune to E flat, and this is absolutely fine even with the shorter scale. They are just so easy to get around on, and your shoulder/back may thank you. This comes with the really decent, fitted short scale musicman hardcase, and I can package it up in an appropriately sized box. Any marks in the pictures below are just fingerprints - not scratches! This is in perfect working order. I am based in Exeter. You are welcome to pop over and try it. I imagine ~£25 for P&P, but we can figure this out.
