Hi all, I'm looking into buying an expression pedal to control some of my effects, and I wondered if there is a common consensus on the available models? In the past, I've felt that quite a few expression pedals were flimsy and plastic. I'm looking for a more robust pedal, that gives me some resistance rather than requires impeccable "good toes - naughty toes" ballet action. Also, it will give me the confidence that it is well built. I'm looking at hooking the expression pedal up to an Expressionator too, so just the 1 expression pedal is needed I think. Any comments/reviews would be welcome. Ta

Hi All, Last night, the RHCP played every track off their new record "I'm With You" at a gig in Germany, which was streamed live to Vue Cinemas in 39 countries around the world. Did anyone else see it? I though Josh Klinghoffer fitted in brilliantly, Chad is an absolute monster, Flea had some good bits and an EPIC sound (although worryingly seemed to be struggling with his hands a lot) and most of all Anthony's voice as a SINGER (not rapper/front man) was much improved. Didnt get a great look at Flea's set up - but it was modulus flea/funk bass into Acoustic head and cabs. I think he used an MXR micro amp, a Malekko B:Assmaster, but I couldnt see the other pedals on his board. Thoughts? Comments?

Hi All, I'm looking for strings to put on my 2eq 'Ray so my sound goes into Bernard Edwards territory. I've read that GHS Brite Flats are the way to go here. Does anyone have any experience with these strings on a 'Ray? If so, do people have any specific recommendations regarding the choice of string gauge? Finally - is there anywhere in the UK where I can order them? There are a few expensive packs on ebay, but is there anywhere else people have used? They aren't on stringbusters... Cheers!
