1. Saw them in 72 playing mainly Nursery Cryme, my favourite album and they were stunning. Went off them a bit with Lamb and totally when Gabriel left.
2. I'm left handed so not a problem I ever encounter.
3. A pair of Jack 15s or a pair of Ashdown 4x10s of interest?
4. I had a 72 Ric and the sound was perfect, unfortunately the rest of it was a load of rubbish. I used it with a Roost 100w valve head and a pair of Vox T60 cabs and the sound was fantastic. Thinking about it though, when the Roost died and I had to use a GK 200w head, I forget the model, It had lost that sound. Gas again.
5. I'm hanging.
6. Scratching head bump.
7. I'd suggest one of these, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HH-MA100-Mixer-Amp-Head-old-but-quality-kit-/231023995692?pt=UK_MusicalInstr_Amplifiers_RL&hash=item35ca1a6b2c or, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H-H-amp-head-with-5-channels-spring-reverb-PA-or-instrument-/130956940321?pt=UK_MusicalInstr_Amplifiers_RL&hash=item1e7da45421 or, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Carlsbro-Marlin-6-150-Amplifier-Head-/190876203294?pt=UK_MusicalInstr_Amplifiers_RL&hash=item2c711bb91e and something like this, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Carlsbro-300-watt-speakers-/221260316440?pt=UK_ConElec_SpeakersPASystems_RL&hash=item3384247f18 They always worked OK and are probably ideal for what you want. They are also cheap enough that if the band split it wouldn't be worth arguing over your financial input.
8. Alas, the gas bottles are empty and the gas barbecue has said it's fond farewells.
9. Not a lot of interest at the moment so how about if I lower the price to £275.
10. Superb Akai Unibass for sale. Getting a bit rare these but a great effect. Put your guitarist to shame and show them what riffin' is all about. This is what an 8 string bass should sound like. Uses a standard 9v adaptor, not supplied. Great pedal, great effect. £150 posted. Sounds like this,
11. Passive is cut only so it's not actually boosting anything but cutting something. Sounds like a treble cut to me, remarkably similar to turning down the tone control. Seems a lot of money for a switched tone control.
12. Monday bump.
13. This may help, http://www.questronix.com.au/info/info_tingles.htm
14. I'm impressed, congratulations. A man after my own heart.
15. I do all of ours myself. Buy printable CDs and jewel cases from whoever sells them cheap, I get mine from Amazon. Burn the CDs with Toast. Print the CDs on my trusty Epson Photo R220. Print out the inserts on card for the front insert and paper for the back track listing and get the others, or a friend, to cut them out. Stanley knife and a metal rule work well. This is seriously boring so in the end I paid my nephew a few quid to cut them out. Works out pretty cheap, so more profit if you sell them or less of a loss if you give them away. You can see our last 2 albums here, http://www.6ts.co.uk/album.html
16. Great idea, count me in as well.
17. This is an interesting read with regard to sub placement. http://www.padrick.net/LiveSound/SubwooferInfo.htm
18. Looking at the frequency graphs, it looks like the Mackie is nearly 10DB more efficient than the JBL. Two of them will less than that though, about 6-7DB but still quite a lot. Also, do you split the subs, try them next to each other, might make a lot of difference as well.
19. One of these is what you want. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Balanced-Microphone-Mic-Splitter-Transformer-Isolated-Output-Ground-Lift-/111004940746#vi-content
20. Been there, done that, generally a waste of money. As they say, word of mouth is best.
