Thank you. The seller was literally around the corner from me, so it was a no- brainer really. As I mentioned, I'm not a guitar player, but my son is learning so I thought I would buy one too to learn with him. I'm enjoying the first few days with it and went straight into Mystery Train! It has the most confusing wiring though - it's going to take me a while to get used what each of the pots actually does and how they interact with each other - certainly doesn't seem to be much logic behind it!! Ive been lurking on gretsch talk for a couple of weeks, now I have one, it'll be time to sign up.

Just bought this - an upgraded G5120 (new loom and pups). I've never played guitar before, but I've wanted one of these for almost 40 years after being giving an Eddie Cochran LP when I was about 6!

Update for anyone else looking at trying midi. The Peak midi switch arrived, and i had it controlling my rack gear in 10 mins flat. i programmed a couple of banks to change the patches on my PSA and a couple of banks to lay my effects, seperately on top of those. Much easier than I had hoped. Thanks to [b]Dood[/b] for his help with this.
