1. PRICE INCLUDES INSURED COURIER TO UK ADDRESS Lots of photos a few post down... I had this USA American Vintage Re-issue 1962 Precision in a trade a few months back - I've put on a brand new set of Thomastik Infeld roundwounds and have really enjoyed playing it at home. However I've gigged it a couple of times and I keep going back to my Jazz with flats - the sound suits our band so much better, so I'm thinking about selling it for what I paid, £600. I'll post it in the UK for free, insured. I have a few things I need to buy, so I won't be looking for trades I'm afraid. The original fender tweed case and all the chromey gubbins are included as is the candy. It had a break to the neck many years ago, but it's as solid as a rock - and I mean solid - no issues at all. So that's why it's such a bargain. So grab yourself an amazing US Precision for a silly amount of money. A few things to point out: 1. you cannot notice or feel the repair when you are playing 2. punters cannot see the repair when you are playing 3. the repair is as strong as the original wood, if not stronger, so it's not going anywhere 4. its in lovely condition, well set up, plays like a dream and sounds like only one of the classic P's can! 3. Thank you for your help gents. I'm going to take another reading very early in the morning just to make sure (no background noise, etc.) and then build something appropriate based on your advice. Thanks again, amazing info. Chris
4. Thats why I love this place! Thank you so much for the advice. I've attached a reading of what I'm getting withing 6" of the servers, so looking at that, would your full monty be the way to go rather than just the rockwool option?
5. Hello, Hoping someone with a bit of soundproofing experience may pick this up and be able to offer some advice. In the corner of my office, we have an open 2 tier shelf with 8 PC servers on it. They are on 24/7 and the noise of the fans needs to be subdued somehow. I've got two office screens made of lightweight inch thick fibreboard. This helps a bit, but not much, so I was considering attaching acoustic foam to the back of the screens. I dont need to totally remove the fan noise (we'd need a soundproof cabinet for that), I just want to minimise it. Would the acoustic foam on the back of the screens help at all? Thanks very much, Chris
6. My XLS 1500 Drivecore is in the F/S section at the moment. I ran a Bass Pod XT Pro in front of it and also my Sansamp PSA 1 - both bridged into a pair of Vanderkley cabs. Both sounded immense but for several reasons I need to shift some of my gear. The Crown is light and very powerful. As Ed S said, you won't be dissapointed.
7. [s]I would like to trade my (spare) GB Streamliner 900. Ideally Ampeg but open to offers of other amps - trade value around £600. Includes rack mount and a GigSkins bag. The rack case isn't included I'm afraid. Please PM. Cheers Chris[/s]
