  5. This is a serious bargain. I've just sold an identical rig, I'm delivering it tomorrow and I had tears in my eyes playing it for the last time! I wish I could afford to keep it.
  6. Still for sale bump.
  7. PM'd!
  8. The width would be fine (both of them in an upright posotion = 26" wide), but they are only 11" deep and your head is 16" I believe?
  9. Hello there, I'm taking delivery of a new head today and it's my first amp with tubes. I have a couple of quick tewb newb questions that I hope someone can help with. It's a MarkBass TTE500, so it has a tube pre only (3x ECC83 + 1x ECC81 for the compressor). I've read conflicting stuff and I'm not sure if same rules apply to pre tubes or just power tubes. Apologies in advance if these question are a bunch of arse. But this cost me a bomb and I don't want to damage it through ignorance! 1. How long should it warm up before playing? 2. How long should I expect preamp tubes to last? 3. So, should I carry spares? 4. What about switching on the amp if the practice room is very cold? 5. Anything else I should know? The manual is very light on detail. Thanks very much, Chris
  10. Fantastic job. Excellent video. I wish I'd gone for the 7K over my 3K now. I bet Douglas is pretty happy with this!
  11. Just had an email from Mark - my MNT's should be arriving tomorrow. I'm like a kid on xmas eve! Sad.

  19. Thank you very much for the info guys. I actually had that magazine upstairs but hadnt read the review. I'm thinking about pairing two of these up with the markbass randy Jackson head, but the shuttles and streamliners are getting lots of love from all quarters. Thanks again, your help is appreciated. Chris
  20. Sounds like a plan! Head is 230 new and cabs are 280 new, so if you and skez want to do the arithmetic between you, that's good for me! Cheers Chris
  21. Hi moonbass, How are you finding those cabs now you've been living with them for while? I've been speaking to Mark about these cabs today as it happens but can't find too much about them online. Thanks Chris
