    Thanks for putting me right on the TS/TRS front Ian! And thanks for your suggestions. My multimeter is at a friends 25 miles away and I daren't pull the cable apart as they are supposed to be fragile enough and i need to use it this weekend (hence needing the backup!). Suppose I'll just have to drive over and get my meter Once again, thanks very much.

    [b]Soldering TA4F to Mono 1/4" TRS[/b] Hi there, I want to make a spare cable for my Relay G50 wireless and need to solder a mono jack to a 4 pin mini XLR. I'm capable with a soldering iron, but have only made my own gultar cables and patch leads in the past. Can anyone help by telling me what needs to be soldered to what pin on the TA4F? A Google search didn't shed any light! Many thanks Chris
