2.
Fancy a trade for a ACG 5 string P/J bass?
Doh sorry didn't see this - I'll send you a pm
3.
In general I love playing bands with electronic kits, the improvement in overall band sound quality from not having to wind the levels of everything else to match an acoustic kit is honestly a revelation IMO.
I'd agree with that. I play in a soul funk band where drummer uses a high end roland kit and gets a great range of sounds (flicks to congas on a verse of move on up). Best is that we have much better control on volume
4. bump - ok to courier if needed ...
5. ok I'll check out the options ..may take more organising as its difficult to arrange pickup times.
6. mmm not quite sure what a barracuda amazaque looks like. got any pictures?
7. shes no lightweight - using bathroom scales I reckon a bit over 5.5 kg 12lbs+
8. Warwick Corvette 6 string plus case Serial number ends 01 which I think makes it a 2001. Its been well used and has a few scuffs and marks but nothing major. Its sounds great with an active 2 band eq and I think the woods are bubinga and wenge. In the past there was an intermittent loose connection somewhere which meant active eq cut out though passive it worked fine. Its not done this for some time so I never bothered to get it looked at. Its working fine at the moment. At the moment its strung E to E (from an overwater 7 string set) - which i needed for a special project but i didn't change the nut or anything. Prefer pickup or meet up near North Essex but ok to courier if needed .
9. PM sent - interested in a trade for bitsa p bass .
10. tuner gone ....(cat has indigestion) 4u rack case left .... £20. or swap for something?
11. last bump before i let the cat eat it
12. sorry to add more potentially confusing information i've got two eden ex112 cabs and i really like them - not the lightest bass cab but nice tight bass, compact size and cheap. Give me loads of options and I've also used one on top of a barefaced compact. if you get the chance try one - I think eden supplies to the UK are getting through.
13. Rack case in reasonable condition[s] with behringer bt2000 rack tuner with light - and other functions[/s]. Also has on blank 1u plate - with added cheese grater - handy for the knocking up those mid gig snacks Pick up from N Essex (cat not included) tuner gone... 4 u rack case alone ... £20
14. speculative pm sent...
15. t
[sub]what exactly are the cracks shown on the neck? cheers, Paddy.[/sub]
they are very thin cracks....they were there when i got it and have stayed the same...not sure whats caused them
16. Mexican Fender Jazz deluxe - the active one. Great bass but it has issues hence the price.... I bought it about 15 months ago year ago as a stop gap measure for my son- and its done really well. he has since moved on to another bass so this is surplus to requirements. The bass plays well and sounds good. Its had a hard life... and the issues are: - the paint is cracked round by control plate - a few scrapes dinsg scratches and the surface has been rubbed down to the wood in a few places -esp around jack socket - volume control seems to have given up (maybe loose connection) - though the 3 band eq and pickup selector work fine - some cracks on the back of the neck. I've tried to show these in photos but my photography skills are pretty bad. I would prefer a pick up (or we meet up) so you can see what your getting. No case Im afraid. I'm in North Essex - near stansted but work in London Its priced at what I paid for it.
17. is this still for sale/trade?
