Onsong looks like the answer. Can you input the lyrics and chords directly and can you import from the laptop list? Thanks.
Not sure if I got you right but if I did and you need to be able to view lyrics and chords on your iPad whilst playing then I suggest you use "notes" app. It's so easy. I simply copy and paste the lyrics into notes app and put a space between each line. I then put the chords in the spaces. You can also put reminders in the spaces ie hold for 2 bars etc...... You can have a new note per song and simply name each note after the song. When you open your notes app all your songs are there in a list.

You truly are an inspiration. Thank you.

I'm having difficulty with this one. I'm too content and fat to be inspired by something so macabre. I'm not bested yet though. I keep coming up with tunes that sound a bit scooby doo. If anybody is miserable out there wants to collaborate I'm open to suggestions. Lol.

Well done Zen great tune.

Thanks Spacechick...... 5 votes Crikey. Thanks everyone. Must agree Simon Edwards track is addictive.
No, I'm talking about the mobile site. There's a massive difference between them (I occasionally swap to 'full' to do something I can't on 'mobile') so I know the difference. The small black dot to the left does take me to the right place when I eventually hit it accurately.
Have you got really fat fingers?

Your 2009 mac should be able to handle logic quite easily. I guess there is a problem with your computer. Bring it to the apple store. They will run some checks and tell you for free what the problem is. Whether you progress or not is up to you. It's worth a trip. Good luck.
In the end, the boy got my vote. Your track just touched a nerve in me. I'm looking forward to hearing more from you.
Cheers mate. Thank for the vote.
I might need an extension of a few hours. If that's not acceptable, I have a version as it is now that I can use, but it's not quite complete.
I'm all for extensions. Let's hope the powers that be agree. 😨

Ok so, this is my entry for Oct. This song is about a holiday I had when I was younger and wiser. Not quite the sound I wanted to achieve but I gave it my best shot. Hope you like it. http://m.soundcloud.com/theboysings/beautiful-feeling
The deadline is midnight tomorrow night (24th)
Cool thanks mate. Had a listen to your entry a few mins ago. I like it. The singer is awesome. I have a song put together but I had a cold whilst recording the vocal so it all sounds a bit nasal. I'm hoping to re record the vocal tomorrow if I have time. If not it will have to do.
-
Is the deadline midnight tonight (23rd) or tomorrow (24th)?
-
This was harder than I thought. I couldn't find time this month. I threw it together today so the vocal and mix are terrible but I have committed to entering so I'm not bunking out this month. I will post the link tomorrow.

If it doesn't feel good then don't do it. There will be other basses.
This is very interesting. Seems like the 'dying corpse' is the musician then, not the music industry?
Yes that would fit better....... Although maybe the op meant that spotify was a zombie that was dying. Zombies are indeed the undead, however they are also dead. So technically a dying zombie could be viewed as a dying corpse. Spotify could be viewed a mindless savage looking to suck the life out of all creativity and hence producing more zombies until all that is left is zombie music. I mean it's not the most conclusive defence I've ever put together but it's plausible.........
It's the consumers/listeners I feel sorry for. Right now you are sitting in front of your computers or mobile devices streaming the music from services such as Spotify. But what happens when they are gone and something different replaces it? You'll have to start all over again. And don't think that it won't, because it will and it will probably happen sooner than you can imagine.
Stop being such a dinosaur, we will move on to the next format/technology when it arrives. I've done this 5 times already with 5 different mediums and each time it has made music cheaper and more accessible. Why would you feel sorry for people who are obviously making adult decisions that are working for them?

Band leader: I want a songlist of 200 songs...
the boy replied to solo4652's topic in General Discussion
About 20 years ago, my buddy and I set up a band comprising of all the best players from 4 other bands (poached). We put a set list of 40 songs together and we had a backup list of about another 100 or so. They were generic arrangements and were grouped them into rock n roll, blues, etc etc....... It took us a few months to get it together and we played loads of gigs while setting it up so we were tight. We had a manager arranged and it was all set to kick off big time and we were going to be a professional gigging band. We played three gigs (as the finished product) and our guitarists (brothers) were poached by another band and it all fell flat on its face. Vest la vie. -
I've got a hook and a chorus recorded on voice memos on my phone. I'll get to work on this on Monday. Haven't listened to any entries yet. I will do that at work later and leave some feedback.
I know what you mean so you must not on any account listen to this..............
You bastard lol

Can people stop recommending albums to listen to. This is starting to take over my life. Every time someone suggests one I give it a listen and before you know it a day has past. I'm supposed to be listening to calypso type music for this months composition competition. God knows what I'll come up with at this rate.
-
Wow...... What a picture. I can't wAit to get started on this. Edit: spelling of wait......
-
Listened to this before but couldn't quite get my foot in the door. Been exposed to a lot of jazz lately and find I'm being drawn back to this type of thing more and more. I will revisit this over the next few days. Thanks for the refresher and insight.

Well done Skol...... Excellent piece. Looking forward to Octobers picture. Thank you to the four people who voted for my track. I was genuinely surprised and moved that I got 4 votes against such stiff competition.
