Hi Neepheid my comment wasn't directed at you specifically I simply think that some posters on BC seem to think that they have the definitive opinion on all things bass. We don't know this guys circumstances and threads like this don't help him sell his bass. I think fraud and underhandedness should be outed but some bloke trying his hand at relicing in an honest way should be left to it. This guy has had a few other relics in the past and they've been not bad. Anyway thats my 2 pennies worth.

The body is quite nice however the neck does look a tad overdone. However the guy is trying to produce something individual and unique and having read his comment in the previous post I must say I support him. It's his bass he can do whatever he likes with it, and if someone likes it and wants to buy it then that too is their business. There isn't any mis-description or fraud going on here. The only injustice I can see is the slating that this guy is getting on BC. There is a Market for relicd basses and I wish the guy good luck. That said I wouldn't buy it, but someone will and all the best to them.

Hi I need a 70s p bass neck with a 64.5 ml heel and rod adjustment at the headstock. My p bass body has an oversize pocket and I'm finding it difficult to locate a neck to suit. I will consider all offers. Fender is preferred but not exclusively.

hi buddy if you measure the exact gap I will knock you up some aluminium shims. I used similar ones to mate a 70s p bass body and a mighty mite neck a few months back and they work a treat. I will make the shims for free if you pay the postage.

hi guys any info on korean bass guitars by squier. I know that the indonesians are more desireable than the chinese so how do the their korean cousins fare. Any info is greatly appreciated.

im currently re doing a squier and I found a suitable pickguard on ebay from nottinghammusicshop there are a few different types but the one that worked for me was TYPE A. You will see what I mean when you check their items. hope this helps. The exact wording you can search is 'bass guitar pickguard scratchplate white pearloid wbw-a'. This will bring you to their shop and you can make your searches from there.

Hi everybody this is my first post so if I'm breaking any protocol, apologies. I recently bought a 70s p bass ash body on eBay. I then purchased a mighty mite p bass 70s standard neck to go with the body but the neck is too small. There is a 1/2 ml gap at the heal/pocket on either side. I desperately wanna put the two together but I'm nervous it won't work out. Any tips. Im bricking the drilling of the holes for the neck plate screws. Also is the neck gonna be moving all over the shop. Can I shim it. Etc etc. Any advice would be appreciated. The boy.
