It's no worries at all, I didn't mean to seem grumpy, just a bit down ATM as my Grandad's not very well. To be fair I did just pick a date out of the air, should really have got some feedback first. It's just April is pre-opeinging for the studio but hopefully post-carpet. The date doesn't matter so much, it just means I'd have to charge the princely sum of £45 for the room for any later! Unfortunately I don't really have the time to follow this up properly, if anyone wants to get preferred dates from fellow lefties and propose a more suitable date I'm totally fine with that Oh - totally fine with a venue change if needs be as well, but we are kinda spread out all over the place!
How bout trading it for my Alembic? They r about the same value and it s nice for a change before eventually selling it agzin
Hey Sebastian, good thinking but I'm afraid the Epic isn't to my taste. To be tempted into a trade I'd ideally like a Ltd. Edition Warwick, a Wal or a pre EB MusicMan. (Like the lovely Sabre we asked about!)
dont do it biggsy! the recession hits the lefties the hardest Can't actually justify that statement, but I know its true
I'm with you - it's making an already small market even smaller. I've not even got to play it in anger yet, but I know long term it's too expensive for me to be a keeper with weddings and whatnot on the horizon. So, best put it up sooner rather than later with the economy how it is.
This is my Small Clone (EH 4600 Full Chorus), bought from Aphook (i think...) just before i bagged a Stereo Electric Mistress. Lovely chorus pedal for bass, real easy to use too with just one depth switch and a rate knob. Pretty much every sound is at least usable with some really lush chorus sounds. If i hadn't spied the SEM i'd be keeping it! I preferred this to most others in this price barcket as it sounds more natural and is built like a tank It has a few battle scars on the front but functions like a new pedal, just gave it a brief check and everything works. The back is covered in velcro but this will come off. The original rubber feet and battery cover are still with it. Also this comes with a lead to use it (and other pedals with "mini jack" DC sockets) with a regular power supply or power bank, so no worries about powering it. Comes in the original box too! I would like what i gave for it which was £30 delivered.
Yoink! PM about to be sent
Almost got there with the SEI. Almost..... Outbid with 7 seconds to go. Then it jumped £400.
Arg, unlucky dude. Still, finished a long way down from the £2k the seller wanted, I wonder if it's actually sold? The wording of the ad left me wondering if it was an auction at all..

A heavy looking, but useable double neck .. and I can't remember if anyone's montioned the SEI on ebay;

Seems the Ric we first followed has now been relisted.. Potentially with a few new parts: £2600 If the one at a grand doesn't rocket too much that'll be a great deal, it appears to be quite a rare model.
i have no idea what the difference is to be honest, though i have always wondered...
I'm pretty sure the main difference is in the electrics - something to do with blending the pickups.. I'll try and dig out the site I was reading a few weeks back. Here we go; Ric resource

Do the 4001's have a different truss arrangement*? I remember reading somewhere that they're not suitable for nickel /SS strings, but I may have dreamt it...? *Edit: To 4003's?
