1. Whereabouts are you in Ireland?
2. This has now been sold to a very happy John Deacon fan
3. Any interest in a trade for a MIM Sunburst Jazz?
4. Trying to PM you but every time I do, the PM ends up in my inbox for some reason! If the bass is still available let me know.
5. I've had to cancel on this - sorry again Dan - so someone please snap this up straight away. It's an absolute bargain - the guitar shop near me are looking £530 for these without the upgrades!
6. I'll take it!
7. I played an epiphone les paul bass a recently that I loved the feel of, and I'm thinking this would maybe feel similar - very tempted but it's so difficult to know without trying it! Would you describe it as being farily easy to play i.e. fast enough neck? (mind you if your selling it I'm sure you would haha!)
8. I've had this book for years, and I've started to go through it again in my attempt to get back into practising regularly - the only thing is that I can't for the life of me find the second CD! Managed to find CD1 but CD2 seems to have disappeared. Would anyone who owns this book be able to rip CD2 to mp3 and make it available for download, or make me a copy? You'd be helping a fellow bass player!
9. I'd buy this right away if it was the sunburst one - I've done plenty of reading up on these models and I've read nothing but glowing reviews about them. Don't be put off by the fact that it's made in Mexico.
10. I used to have one of these and regret selling it. I got mine for just over £200 quid on eBay but in the few years that have passed their value has risen - I should have kept it!
11. Damn I wish you lived near me; I want to try and learn piano and that is just about in my price range - but as you rightly said postage would cost a fortune. Ho hum - someone's gonna get a bargain with this!
12. Have a bump from me, that is gorgeous.
13. Wish I'd been quick enough to get this! No point in joining the queue now!
14. A pic would probably help
15. This is my dream bass. A 70's sunburst jazz with inlays and chrome covers - to me, this is the most beautiful bass you can get. Unfortunatley I couldn't justify spending that much on a bass, although this is more of a collectors item than a bass. Such a pity that the re-issue's of these hardly ever seem to come up for sale!
16. Can anyone vouch for the quality of these instruments? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-Tuscany-Swing-Ba...id=p3286.c0.m14 It certainly looks nice, who know whether it's actually any good though!
17. Nice to see so many people here from N.Ireland!
18. Ever get any pics for these?
19. I am detecting a faint whiff of bullshit in this thread. The bass was first put up for trade over a year ago, the seller does not want money, and the seller doesn't know what he wants to trade it for. I think what it boils down to is that you don't want to sell/trade this bass at all, which is understandable, but it would be best if you didn't waste people's time by dangingling it under their noses in this way.
20. Heck tell us what kind of bass you want to trade it for and I'm sure there's people here who would buy one on eBay just to get their hands on that Jazz
21.
Me too. I've been after one in black as well.
I too am waiting for a Jazz with a rosewood inlayed neck to appear here - I'm after a sunburst.
22. What an absolute bargain!
