1. Bought this off Zapp a while back, with a veiw to starting to record stuff again, but I seem to lack the creative skills I had a few years ago! It is a fantastic piece of kit, but it's not getting any use! It comes with a leather case which apparently costs an extra £20. I'm looking for exactly what I paid for it; £80 + £5 postage.
2. Bump. Probably gonna ebay this soon.
3. Are the neck dimensions/thickness the same as a 'real' stingray?
4. I played one in a shop once and the neck did feel very chunky. Played beautifully though.
5. Is the neck itself ok? Straight enough?
6. I did that measurement - the bass scale is 32".
7.
33" seems kinda odd. Did you measure from the edge of the nut nearest to the frets to 12th fret and double it?
Nope, I measured from the nut to the bridge. I will take the measurement you describe when I get home and post my results!
8. EDIT: Messed up measurement - scale length is 32"

No probs Mike, all the best of luck with the auction! I had another idea, didn't you buy it off a guy who has videos of him playing his basses on YouTube? I think I remember seeing him playing this one - you could put a link to that video on your auction listing. Personally I'd love this bass but Status basses, especially ones like these with the fancy lights fitted, are way out of my price range!

You could start a special auction topic here - start it at say £500 and everyone who was interested could post up bids - this way you could see how much people were prepared to pay. If nothing else it sounds like it could be fun!
11. This is just about the best deal I've ever seen here - I'm assuming the only reason you aren't getting a buyer is the fact that you can't post it? Even so, I'd guess at this new price, which amazingly cheap, someone near you should snap this up within the next couple of hours.
12.
Cheers Rusty, thats the very one. They were taken by the previous owner.
No probs! Great looking bass.
13. Here's a full size pic of the bass (at least what I assume is this bass!):

15. Bought this a while ago because I wanted to be Jack Bruce These basses very rarely appear on eBay, and they are in my opinion of much higher quality than the Epiphone copies. Currently strung with flatwounds and gives a surprising variety of sounds. Missing two screws on the scratchplate and a small chip on the back where someone installed a strap pin but in mint condition apart from that. Yours for £200. 16. Lovely bass! Might help if you post a pic of the entire bass? Not just the body.
17. PM sent - would be interested in buying a soundcard and a Midi controller.
18. Would I be right in assuming that this has a nice motown Jamerson-esque sound to it?
19. There is at least 3 basses there that I would love..... ......are you trying to bankrupt me!?
20. I want one. Already planning on selling a load of stuff to buy one of these - IF they are as nice as they seem.
21.
She's far from mint condition
That's what makes her so stunning! You lucky lucky bassist.
22. Gorgeous bass - Status basses really are works of art. As well as sounding rather good too! I could never justify spending so much on a bass, but I had a Washburn Status for a couple of years, and I'd reccomend it to anyone who wants the status vibe on a budget. I really regret selling my Washburn Status!
23. Hi there, I have one of these Zoom pedals that I hardly ever use any more, if you'd be interested in buying it feel free to drop me a PM!
