1. Oh man, just invested in another bass..dammit. These are fabulous instruments. I have one for many years and stupidly sold it, this layout, this colour (sobbing now!). One of the best necks on any bass i have ever had (an thats over 100!) Buy this before I have to sell one of the kids, GLWTS
2. Here is my fretless project lending a heavy nod to the J-P style Jazz bass. Underneath is a 90's jazz copy, but the sunburst is bang on for the look (even down to the lack of red varnish in the scratchplate). I have replaced the pickups with a mixture of Entwhistle and Wilkinson pickups, de-fretted the neck using maple veneer to re-do the fret lines, Neck is sanded and look good. Big 'ol bridge to hump up the sustain. Wilkinson schaller style machineheads. Like i say its mid-project, needs detailing on the nut (not a show stopper as it plays just fine), No decals..add what you like or leave as is.. A litlle bit of detailing will make a fine jaco tribute. Selling for cost of parts as needs to get down from 11 basses!...so i am told. I live in Rochester Kent. Post or can meet up in Rochester/ London during week,
3. Ahoy. Time has come at home to downsize the crop if fine basses that i have and here is one of 'em. I bought this off of here a while back and basically is a no name jazz body with some very tasty hardware, babiscz bridge, EMG active p'ups and circuit (no routing for the battery just lift the bell plate come battery change time). It was originally a fretless but I added a maple neck, (which came witha F logo..its not original so take as aesthetic add on only) Nitro re-finish on the neck, buffed back to v.nice in the hand. Luthier set up (fret dress and nut re-cut). A very tidy good looking bass. Body is ASH with a rather nice unmarked sunburst finish, making her a meaty 10lb'er. Lovely bass, looks great under stage lights, lovely tone. I am rationalising/downsizing the herd, but on the lookout for a Sire v7 (or VV7) 4 or 5 , black with block markers so trades in that direction an option. Can mail detailed photos on request, based in Rochester kent.
4. I have the three band active version, yours looks like a slightly different version. is it active or passive?? GLWTS
5. Good basses these. Have seen them modded with musicman p'up and circuits, straight swap. Cheap price for a quality bass....
6. If you can split the postage with me i think we have a deal
7. Hi folks...still for sale. I am open to some trades, fretless or fretted show me what you got....

9. if you were up for trade+cash (your way) we'd be talking ..GLWTS
10. Boaty McBump Face. New strings, new machine heads, new batteries...all it needs is someone new to stand behind it..
11. All Pm's responded to, now on HOLD pending usuals. Many thanks
12. Blimey no love for the BH, will consider interesting part / trades etc. this is a lot of amp for 25% off list with all the knick knacks...
13. Believe the hype these are rather good chaps. One of the early batch and consequently signed by Marcus Miller himself, a few dints on the front from the original owner, nothing ugly. I have had to change the machine heads as one got knocked and snapped off. I went to the trouble of sheilding the control cavity and also upgrading the control knobs from the original plastic to metal control knobs. Comes with the original pickup cover if you like that sort of thing. So 18v active, through body stringing Alnico p'ups. Currently sporting some rather shiny Dean Markley new strings Can ship to most places at your expense, will always include insurance to correct value. Based in Rochester Kent, try-outs possible with a bit of warning to get the kettle on and hoover up. See pics she a pretty one and thats for sure...
14. 9.5/10 condition this little amp belies a great sound and flexibility. (couple of scuffs nothing serious) I went a bit mad and bought a glockenlang so its a rather fetching spare and barely been used. full spec and review is here http://www.tcelectronic.com/bh800/ Can post pics if needed but it pretty near perfect..... comes with the dedicated mute/toneprint1/toneprint2 footswitch and TC electronics bag to stick it in. save £100+ off of list.
15. Got one myself, great straight out of the box and a great mod'ing platform. Great build quality, stupidly good value
16. I was a long term MarkBass user but after a fail on a show i decided to buy something new. I initially bought old school format BH500. A good amp but wasn't quite modern sounding. I went to Andertons in Guildford who had a deal going on a RH head around the same time as the BH800 came out. I tried them back to back using a SIRE v7 5 string and found the RH was a rounder sound overall and lacked the outright attack of the BH (even though the BH was slightly cheaper.) I also tried the equivalent MarkBass head in the same price range (along with various cabs). My advice is to do the same and play with cabs as well. In the end I bought the BH800 and a TC 4*10 and am very happy with it.
