    Ahhhhh I have owned 4 of these! they are brilliant, then i get G.A.S for something and land up selling them and reget it.. Nice growly full on Stingray. Totally out gun the 'ray and current SUB series. Buy with complete confidence. GLWTS

    Hi de ho bassistes So i will be honest I have owned a large number of basses in my time and get a real buzz from getting/buying a fresh new bass and settling it in and am always impressed by the fit and finish on basses these days. Or by buying second hand getting it to play great. But never wanted to buy a deliberately road worn bass. So here the deal. Why exactly would one buy a new bass that has been deliberately road worn? Why not gig the **** out of one and remember why the divots were there?? Seen a few around and quite honestly I would want them pristine. Cant say I think any bass player is cooler for having a bass that looks like it survived hurricane katrina (posible exception 'might' be Billy Sheehans 'wife' bass, but respect that because it has seen 1000's of shows). Thoughts and opinions??

    Woohoo what a ride, nice comments...some completely odd yet artistically done..nice. Its good to consider other opinions ...even bad ones..thats how better solutions are born.

    In perfect condition, I have upgraded the control knobs (original available). See pic One of the earliest examples, a lovely bass (believe the hype..honestly!) great grain on the swamp ash, maple on maple neck. Save £130 on new! **SOLD pending clearance of funds etc **

    This is the amp that started it all, analogue, pre black/yellow paint job, The P501 is 500w /4 ohms and something like 375w into 8. superb old school MarkBass amp. Neutrik and Jack outputs. In good condition for ages, recently serviced. Offers or swaps considered Pics to follow

    Having a tear down of the bass pile and this lovely bass has to go to a new home. No space for too many toys... I 'think' its about 10 years old, Construction is just great, condition is excellent, active/passive, quilt maple cap on body, orange trans finish. Setup is spot on no dead spots buzzy frets whatever. Classy bass from a great manufacturer. NOW SOLD

    A brand new, never been gigged G&L SB-2 in white, black scratch plate, rosewood board. Bought during a G.A.S attack when I also bought a Dingwall. and basically it never got played in anger. In showroom condition, I have balanced the pickups and set up the bass generally. All in all a great bass for the money. Vastly underrated imho Pricedrop !!!! [size=8]£350[/size]

    Finally worked out how to give feedback..d'oh Great trade on a single cut ibanez, as described, good comms, great bass, will happily deal with again.
