1. Believe the hype these are rather good chaps. One of the early batch and consequently signed by Marcus Miller himself, a few dints on the front from the original owner, nothing ugly. I have had to change the machine heads as one got knocked and snapped off. I went to the trouble of sheilding the control cavity and also upgrading the control knobs from the original plastic to metal control knobs. Comes with the original pickup cover if you like that sort of thing. So 18v active, through body stringing Alnico p'ups. Currently sporting some rather shiny Dean Markley new strings Can ship to most places at your expense, will always include insurance to correct value. Based in Rochester Kent, try-outs possible with a bit of warning to get the kettle on and hoover up. See pics she a pretty one and thats for sure...
2. 9.5/10 condition this little amp belies a great sound and flexibility. (couple of scuffs nothing serious) I went a bit mad and bought a glockenlang so its a rather fetching spare and barely been used. full spec and review is here http://www.tcelectronic.com/bh800/ Can post pics if needed but it pretty near perfect..... comes with the dedicated mute/toneprint1/toneprint2 footswitch and TC electronics bag to stick it in. save £100+ off of list.
3. Got one myself, great straight out of the box and a great mod'ing platform. Great build quality, stupidly good value
4. Where in Norfolk I should have said!
5. I was a long term MarkBass user but after a fail on a show i decided to buy something new. I initially bought old school format BH500. A good amp but wasn't quite modern sounding. I went to Andertons in Guildford who had a deal going on a RH head around the same time as the BH800 came out. I tried them back to back using a SIRE v7 5 string and found the RH was a rounder sound overall and lacked the outright attack of the BH (even though the BH was slightly cheaper.) I also tried the equivalent MarkBass head in the same price range (along with various cabs). My advice is to do the same and play with cabs as well. In the end I bought the BH800 and a TC 4*10 and am very happy with it.
6. Ahhhhh I have owned 4 of these! they are brilliant, then i get G.A.S for something and land up selling them and reget it.. Nice growly full on Stingray. Totally out gun the 'ray and current SUB series. Buy with complete confidence. GLWTS

11. Hi de ho bassistes So i will be honest I have owned a large number of basses in my time and get a real buzz from getting/buying a fresh new bass and settling it in and am always impressed by the fit and finish on basses these days. Or by buying second hand getting it to play great. But never wanted to buy a deliberately road worn bass. So here the deal. Why exactly would one buy a new bass that has been deliberately road worn? Why not gig the **** out of one and remember why the divots were there?? Seen a few around and quite honestly I would want them pristine. Cant say I think any bass player is cooler for having a bass that looks like it survived hurricane katrina (posible exception 'might' be Billy Sheehans 'wife' bass, but respect that because it has seen 1000's of shows). Thoughts and opinions??
12. No G & L love out there?? might consider a small price drop to move things along...
13. Ibanez are 2nd hand bargains of the century imho. Just bought a single cut sr, I have played worse basses at twice the price
