2. One small dint near the jack socket, nothing on the headstock of front. Weight is about 3.5 - 4 Kg (bathroom scales..) 34 inch scale. B tension is great, not rattle (on a £1400+ guitar expect nothing less eh?) Balance is great. Bulld details are Resin imp[impregnated quilt maple cap. Black Limba body (type of mahogany) Resin impregnated maple quilt 'board. Hipshot premium hardware. ACG custom pickups:
3. Thats a perdy bass right thar..
4. Ok folks, ACG are well know for their build quality and their close association with East pre-amps, and the associated Marmite nature of whether you like filter style pre-amps etc. I have owned this now for a couple of years and dynamically is a joyous thing to play. The original East pre-amp was the dual filter deal and basically I didn't get on with it, so taking advice I went with the more conventional Uni Pre, fitted it (which involved the addition of a switch). I also purchased the correct passive setup from Alan Cringean and in the end that's what is fitted. It has the 4 way dingwall style rotary switch set up (including an out of phase setting). a nice tonal range from a lovely instrument. I am now heavily into my Billy Sheehan Attitude atm and it just doesn't get the use it deserves. I will be including the uni pre (worth £200 in itself). So, here is my ACG graft 5, i have had it up here for a while and time are hard I know, and whilst i am still looking for a princely value its a good £400 short of whats its worth (as you will have seen with other premium bass sales here, time are hard) There is a demo of this very bass on youtube (with the original pre-amp) https://www.youtube....h?v=nEmESOsn5yQ I am looking to swap or swap+cash or a cash sale. (there has been some interest but nothing concrete, I probably took to long to get the sound sample out..) Interested in High end cabs (Bergantino, Barefaced), Stingrays, G&L SB-2 (USA) any interesting 5 strings, anything really, come on what ya got?? Will come in a flight case.
5. Have PM'd you...
6. I have a passive ACG uber graft 5. Perhaps a trade (with some cash your way??) [sharedmedia=core:attachments:219251] And i'm in Rochester!
7. Price dropped to new and final £200!! BAaaaargain
8. I'll take it will pm you
9. Interested, is £175 the reduced price?
10. The dimension pickup is basically two jazz pickups welded together, Kind f musicman-ish but slightly further forwards than the Mman. Tonally is slightly less in yer face than a musicman, EQ is good . Its a nice sounding bass. Certainly of its own rather than being a hacked P bass or Hacked Jazz bass. Nothing to oharsh, but has a good slap sound when called for.
11. If my ACG sells I will be in touch.
12. Will consider interesting trades... Mayonnes, lakland for example.
13. No-one? really?? great sounding fiver ??
14. Hi, selling my dimension 5 stringer, in the slightly unusual mix of sunburst plus maple. I bought the body and neck separately and its plays beautifully, good range of tones etc. Small bodied too, for those like me with bass players neck/back ache. 18. Yes that's the you tube link walbassist. Its the actual bass, not a 'similar' one. Not me playing btw (i wish!) I have always know it as as a Uber graft 5. Graft is the style, i think Uber is the extra nice cap and that. Not a total ACG expert but sounds right. This is one of the 2014 basses made for the bass show lin london. Nonetheless at £1000 a good price for a handmade. Most ACG are double that for starters new. Photo's I struggle with that on here always seem to crash my limit somehow, will try and attach some more
19. Pains me to sell but hey ho lets go. 5 string bass with Black impregnated quilt Maple cap over Black limba body Maple fingerboard. Current running as passive (using ACG original parts), comes with the EAST UNI pre-amp. One hell of a classy looking bass. (in current format, hole for the swicth on the pre-amp is bunged). Demo of this very bass on YOUTUBE if you want up close and personal
20. Good all round condition, one small "doesn't affect the playability" dint on the neck, One of the early ones which some folk rave as being the best, not sure as i haven't played a bad one yet to compare.. I have owned this since new and you really cant say anything more about them than bloody great! Mid 70's Jazz bass honk. I added a mirror scratchplate a good few years ago but still have the original. Wilkinson Tuners as the original Fender ones were crap. All in all a great condition Jazz bass at a good price.
