1.
Hope that helps.
That's a big help, Linus, thank you! ---- I have a BDI21, does anyone know if I can plug straight into a PA without a bass amp using this, if needed? Is that safe, would certain PA speakers have to be used to handle the frequencies?
2. Cheers for the reply, Peter. This thread will get them a few sales.
3. Hey Ville, cool intro. Welcome to BC.
4. I've been waiting for you to get one, nash Although they're quite refined. No dirty squier. narf. Will you take off the controls?
5.
Obviously, no-one wants my SR30th!! http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=11692&hl=
Oooh, I quite like the graphite one. And I'd buy that ovation if you were closer.
6. I get nervous in shops and forget how to play everything. Good thing there's only one good shop in 35 miles of me. Bassists are lovely.
7. On the first day I got my acoustic I left it leaning against a computer chair. Went downstairs, heard a bang, came up to find that it had slipped and that the wheely legs had put a dent right in the front of it. My own fault.
8. I know they did the Dimarzio model Js in cream because there was a set on ebay. I'm not into the ultra pups, but I think the model J sounds awesome and have been looking around for which basses stock them as standard. So cheers.
9. Ouch, Andy. BUMP +2 Pedro, get this on a 3TS P with a maple neck, gorgeous.
10. That's quite disturbing But good luck with the sale.
11. Hi, how long do these take to deliver?
12. pluck, did the jazz sounds come with non-jazz ultra pups as standard?
13. Have a look around your settings in 'My Controls'. You should be able to alter your details there. Anyhow, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you and FJ1200.
14. Right, sorry to be such a fool, but I need to clear this up if anyone can help. Can this bass be played without a lead and amp? Can you just play the bass with the battery listening with headphones? Is there a waiting list on these? If so, how long? How large is the box it's sent in? Are there any user pics of a honey one yet? Probably more questions to come. Cheers everyone. paul.
15. In the deepest, darkest corner of the vast, expanding universe, in a little room with all the lights on. (I was recommending your track)
16. great point. I'd have stuff to share too. 'though mostly vintage soul I think. Not very visual, but do you all know that Japanese guy who puts scenes of his hometown to vintage soul? I love that guy, he has awesome taste. itp.
17. Hey Martin. Welcome to BC! Great gear you have there. Great value gear, for sure. Be sure to get some piccers up of that Spector ASAP, mmkay . paul.

Any of the boutique/custom basses that look as though they've been ripped out of a tree are bucking feautiful. Oh, and I've completely fallen in love with dmz's fretless jazz/precision. I'd rather have my p-special though, probably. The basses mentioned above are either obscenely expensive and/or sentimental to the owner. If I had to choose, it would be Sparky's Martin because it's simple, natural, high quality and honest. And Pete's pimped squier, because it's humble yet versatile, and something that is worth watching the white finish to age. All of that comes after Bassworm's Hungarian upright, of course :
19. The body of the jazz, wow! Almost looks as though it's come off a tree.
20. Not sure if you've bought one already, but I'd definitely go with a creamy/off-white/vintage white/eggshell colour.
21. I'm (obviously) no authority on this, but the tracks aren't very clear; they're a bit quiet and distant. However, I love your tone on 'The Lights Went Down', what bass are you playing there? I think the line on 'The Only Way Out' is very tasteful, also. Great playing, mr. sibs.
22. Oh my.
Never mind about the bass... That was seriously nice & tasteful playing
}+1 This track put a smile on my face. Seriously recommend y'all giving this a little listen. It's streaming too.
23. I would have thought more for theory/technique (Dave Marks etc.). Unless I've underestimated the soloist following.
