Any of the boutique/custom basses that look as though they've been ripped out of a tree are bucking feautiful.

I'd rather have my p-special though, probably. The basses mentioned above are either obscenely expensive and/or sentimental to the owner.
If I had to choose, it would be Sparky's Martin because it's simple, natural, high quality and honest. And Pete's pimped squier, because it's humble yet versatile, and something that is worth watching the white finish to age.
All of that comes after Bassworm's Hungarian upright, of course :
