  1. Hey Jon, cheers for the intro. I'll take a peek at your site. Best of luck with the band search.
  2. Well'ello Andrew Welcome to't forum.
  3. It's just the desire to have something you don't yet have. It's usually irrational and it probably doesn't make you as happy as you first thought it would when acquiring the thing you GASsed for after a few days. Try reading up on Buddhism and practicing thriftyness. Read about poverty. It costs 30p to prevent someone from going blind (that stopped me buying mars bars). You could try the thirty day trial - as in, if you still want something after a month, then consider buying it. Maybe if people stopped hoarding, they'd use less trees. Find beauty in simplicity. Grass-roots (uprights) and unbranded amps. Then read about Buddhism again.
  4. Looks good! I'm jealous of the dark fb. Great price, nash.
  5. Youch, Chris. I've had a few of the stumpy purples and hve dislocated a toe. It's not as funny as it looks.
  6. I think it's one of those organic things. Like recognizable shaped. Kiki and baba or whatever. Pretty wood poorly cut tbh. Love to see the thread in action, though.
  7. That headstock pic of the upright is making me cry with pleasure.
  8. SO cool. Although 5-strings scare me. And awesome wall-hanging mathingma. It makes my batiks look sh*tty.
  9. Where's the cheapest place online for these? (if there is one)

    Ibanez ATK 400

What a bargain, Sean! And the 'eccentric' tuners are really cool. JMMs interest me after enjoying the neck pup on my friend's jazz and the infallible tone of Stingrays. Would be interested to hear it with a mute, especially considering the mahog' body.
  11. Gorgeousity! Has that last one got a stacked knob?
  12. Howdy funky D, welcome to't forum.
  13. I have no idea who their target market it when it comes to an amp like this...

  15. I love to play along. Not as good..obviously. Great fun playing with rhythms and admiring an artisan.
  16. That P is gorguoouous! makes up for the red tort on the Jazz It's great to see the Martin again. The strings show the love. Sexy basses Sparky!
  17. Well that's a lovely bunch, indeed!!
  18. Hey Will. You gots an Urge? Coolio!
  19. Hi Martin. Welcome to't forum. Your the neck on your friend's Spector is probably a little bowed. They're good basses so I'm sure it'll fix up fine with a good setup by a luthier. Ask in your local muso shop if anyone can take a look at it.
  20. Howdy, welcome back! I can't bare(sp?) marmite. I can eat mustard or horseradish from a spoon but a lick of marmite immediately scrunches up my face. I consider it a reflex-response for my spiritual wellbeing. Marzipan. Yum.
