Trad. folk with an uprighty vibe. Try experimenting with different sounds by really digging into the strings.

Those Roland cubes are great. I used one at a sub spectrum masterclass thingamajigg and the tone was very impressive. Where'd you get the strap? Sounds verrr nice.

Most of these guys I have respect for, but I don't get Jonas Hellborg. Or Rush. Chris Squire Flea (punk-slap, early stuff - subway to venus) Rocco Prestia -- Most other bassists I have been interested in I still admire: Jeff Ament, Mike Gordon, flea as a groover, JPJ, Andy Fraser, Jeffrey Hammond-Hammond and many more I can't think of right now.

And I think he knows. I don't think it bothers him in the slightest, I think he's just happy for the recipient. Sean's nice like that. No doubt he'll tell you himself.
