I'd love to get a thin nitro finish on my P-special. Anyone know anyone who does it? paul.

My friend bought a Wesley acoustic bass from a friend for £30. It's real comfy to play and has a satisfactory tone for playing about the house.

Try a Hohner headless (still active). The Walnut stained ones are actually quite attractive. Or a hollowbodied or chambered bass.

I haven't seen one within 50 miles of me for over a year. The first one has come up recently - it's 1/4 size though.
